This is a strong warning coming from a northerner. Pls NPP, dont you ever think of this move anymore, if it is a dream by Mr who only God knows, i beck Mr. who please dont lie down again because your eyes will close and you will be have this dream again.The north is the most divisive part of the our country.Even families in homes of the same clan in the same region are divided.Is he going to come from Northern, Upper East or Upper West Region, when people of these regions often ask, is he a Dagomba, Frafra or a Dagaati instead of can he/she do it, can we trust him/her and stuff like that.Northerners are quick to identify people by where they are coming from instead of who they are.I am a northerner but the truth is that we discriminate allot against people yet the first to accuse other or the southerners of discrimination against us.Come with me to the Tamale township to experience some of these issues for yourselves.

There is too much tribal talk. Whenever Nana leaves, some of us neutrals will love Bawumia to take over not because he is a Northerner but because he looks competent. However in order to get rid of these stealers, the npp can make a deliberate decision to bring a non akan flag bearer to combat the accusation that they are an akan party. For now, I must stress, I feel Nana appears to be the best possible president for our country. We need someone who can tackle the corruption menace destroying our country.
People must learn to look beyond party and tribal affiliation and consider the characteristics of the president rather than his social background.

so there cannot be a northern card in the near future. the rest of the country abounds in great minds spread all over. northerners are having their fair share. al ot of resources have been pumped there. when resources are pumped there they go into few hands who enrich themselves and their offsprings but not to the generality of all the people. look at what alhaji gilbert iddi is doing with saada.

Northerners have no say in the NPP party. Northerners are only used for donkey work and after that they are abandoned to their fate. Few examples are, late Aliu Mahama and Bawumiah,alias 'You and I were not there'.
