Go back in history and read about all the young presidents elected. Start with J.F.K Kennedy and what Americans said about him after his first meeting with Russian president Nikita Kruschev. That "he afraid, he doesn't know what to do as president, etc, etc." Even Bill Clinton in his first year although he had been a state governor, suffered the same inexperieced tongue lashing from old politicians. Then came Barack Obama and all the talk of his inexprience. It is their youth that seemed to be a threat to the old cranky politicians and hence the establishment. The people know how crooked these old politicians are that's why they did not vote for them in the first place. Leave Mahama alone and let him work out how he can get Ghana out of the socio-economic doldrum in which previous administrations particularly the Kuffour administration had dragged our dear country. Stop vilifying Mahama he's bareley started the job. What do you expect. If you expect a quick change in country, ask the citizens to vote for a magician!!!

The person all the blame goes to is the President who's lack of judgement and failure to insist on the right type of scrutiny, allowed for empty barrels like Vic to slip into such an honourable role now dishonoured. So these are the big questions. If the President lacked judgement in appointing Ministers to carry out his vision, then one should ask if the President actually has any vision for this country? Many before us shed blood and tears to bring Ghana this far. Appointing dimwits to high positions to rule over the wise clearly demonstrates the contempt and lack of respect the President and his crony advisers have for the people of Ghana. Who in their right mind will hire an unqualified driver to send his or her children to school? So it means Ghanaians are worth nothing to the President and perhaps that's why he would entrust a key Ministry like Communications to a bumbling fool with no clue. No wonder we have the Subah's and most of the Telcos in Ghana ripping off the state, because of weak links like Victoria......and even as clueless as she is, she could envisage making $1m in office! Ghana deserves better!!

When Okudjeto, an education minister jumps to attack people over non educational issues he offers not only himself but the entire administrative process of selecting the best to represent Ghana sacrificial targets for criticism over maturity and competence. Trace the history of those Mahama appointed as deputy ministers : you'll find shocking revelations of background taints, shameful enough to fail ordinary scrutiny for qualification albeit ministerial position. In all aspects it is safe to hold Mahama responsible for these lapses.How many times did it appear in the news papers and radio talk shows allegations of impropriety against Ablakwa Okudjeto - some of which depicted him as a dihonest first timer rushing to amass wealth and recognition by soundbites. Appointees must be above suspicion and prestine in character. It is unfortunate that appointees like Hanna Bisiw, Victoria Hammah, Okudjeto Ablakwa, among others, fail to meet the qualification mark. They are way off the mark Mr President !

No need for the job for the boys deputy ministers, where are all the senior civil servants and their ilk of ministerial diirectors, the army of coordinating directors. Ministerial positions must be given to people who have distinguished themselves in their chosen profession,have nurtured their children to attain respect in their communities.They've established themselves by having their houses through hard work.Ghanaians must examine the moral standing of presidential candidates before voting for them. Some presidential candidates were morally disgraceful, and yet Ghanaians failed to scrutinize their moral standing before voting for them. If you vote for a womanizer to be president,incidents like wikileak tapes of vic. Hammah would be the order of the day.
Ghanaians are suffering today because the NDc government has appointed people without working experience,people who just come out from the Universities and have only tasted students politics where the art of stealing from the SRC accounts served as the training grounds for corruption. Okudjeto Ablakwa,Idrissu and Hammah did not own a bicycle before they were appointed ministerial positions. But now,Ablakwa has a mansion in US and other European countries.
It is stealing galore all the way. NDc appointees are scrambling for money like nobody's business.
Ghanaians are no fools,the NDC propaganda machinery would collapse.Useless and unintelligent propagandist like the NDC propaganda secretary for Ashanti region,Kwaku Boahen move from one radio station to another to talk nonsense propaganda in anticipation of employment positions.
People go to NDC Headquarters to acquire party cards from Agyenim Boateng and giving the task of moving from one radio station to another to propagate NDC as performing wonders in governance in order to gain employment opportunities. Is this governance?
Let all Ghanaians pray to God to fast track the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to curtail the suffering under this NDC government. The death toll in Ghana has rise astronomically since Mahama took over the governance of this country. What a shame!

Otherwise how on earth could we have kept a vision-less Rawlings for 2 terms after military rule. He walks round with the delusion that he is the best thing that happened to Ghana. Time will be the best judge of that. But truth be told The Late President Mills failed to click and his former Vice now President is struggling and his Vice is also no good Oh Ghana. This is our best times in History and all we have to contend with are mediocre leaders with no focus! Mr President it is not just about winning elections or court cases.
