    Elections should be moved from December to October, rather than to November.

    BACKWARD GHANA NEEDS AT LEAST A THREE-MONTH POST ELECTION PERIOD BEFORE THE SWEARING-IN CEREMONY.

    The Constitution allows the election to take place any time in the three months before the end of the President's term of office. Thus, early October would be the earliest.

    Are these reforms not the exclusive preserve of Parliament? fixing the number of constituencies is the law now. Unless the law is repealed or amended there is little the EC can do.

    If you have an election petition running 8 long months after declaration of results, disrupting transition... of what use will merely changing election timetable to the previous month be?

    Elections is not only about political parties. hence they cannot conclude that people must not be allowed to vote, when verification machines reject them, since the machine is only one of the verification
