NPP, this party is increasingly becoming soooo unattractive. Insane, unintelligent attacks against each other. Dr. Apraku made particular statements and gave logical reasons why he thought Nana should be changed. CANT WE HAVE ONE SINGLE MEMBER OF THE NPP COUNTER HIS CLAIM WITH SOME REASONABLE ARGUMENT? Haba!!

Look at someone too called a Lawyer talking about Nana beating Apraku in their elections. Apraku wasnt contesting Nana's popularity in the party. Seriously, this party and its current leaders are so highly illogical. They possibly could be only "konko Lawyers". Thats the easiest way to have a Profession in politics in Ghana. U can see a clear difference between them and the Tsatsus, Nana's and Lithurs.

And oh,who can forget the appelation,"senior Journalist" that is often attached to certain individuals, whose claim to fame,is walking around with 'tons' of stolen govt papers. At times,I wonder if we have laws[ viz, the Official Secrets Act]in this country? Why are people not outraged and worried that dossiers which properly belong in our national archieves,somehow, find their way into "private" hands?
Now that I can put a face to the kind of 'hot air' which emantes from this particular gentleman,I am not really surprised!

Instead of coming out with statement and ways to improve the party's image for a better chance for victory for the 2016 election, he prefers to play the status game. Listen Mr Boahene, in politics and especially when it comes to the voting, your flag-bearer, the average citizen in the village or town or city, the formal educated and the informal uneducated, the president, the chief Justice, the chief, the Professor the Archbishop. Bishop and yourself all have only one vote. Status does not give you any more than one vote each so think deeply and intelligently to enhance the chances of your party's contention in the next election and stop this childish view about some 'carries no weight in the party'. His views could earn you many valuable votes if you care to just listen instead of trying to ridicule and be dismissive about the reality. I am surprised you are thinking so low as a legally trained person.

Mr. Obiri Boahen may be right that Akufo-Addo has a greater political clout than Dr. Apraku, but Mr. Boahen's ostensible deduction from the SC Petition that Akufo-Addo would win more easily than any other NPP candidate is bogus.

Besides, Akufo-Addo must not be portrayed as owning any entitlement to ascend the Presidency, because of which anyone within NPP opposing his candidacy would be committing a moral travesty.

Moreover, the Presidential candidacy must not be foisted upon the Party through any coercion as being schemed by the likes of Boahen.

Nana must simply step aside for Bawumia or Dr. Frimpong or Alan Cash to infuse the Party with new hope. He has gotten his fair chance. He should let others take the mantle. In fact, Nana has too much baggage, now, to shed off, and another failure of his at that attempt would demolish the Party. He should by now have totally repudiated any interest in running again. Grabbing a third time would be out of egocentricity, if not selfishness.

Leave Dr. Apraku alone. He, or anyone else in the leadership of NPP deserves the privilege to run against Nana.
