The issue of election fraud has been around since 1992. Nobody in Ghana had the courage to expose it and Ghanaians are rather grateful that Nana Akufo-Addo through courage challenged the EC's biased declaration in court. Moments after the Supreme Court verdict, Nana began receive lots of applause and commendations from leaders of our nation ie: Leaders of Political parties, Pastors, Chief Imams, World Leaders including the UN Secretary General. Nana's popularity has soared such that his name has become "Sacred Name" if I the power to say that. It's a fact that nobody can deny. The love for Nana, esp. about his calmness, his respect to the constitution and the rule of law, and his passion to see Ghana as model of democracy for the rest of Africa cannot be described by words alone! People love Nana Akufo-Addo after all the crazy things that the NDC said about him, trying to bring him down. It's on record that NDC's Gen. Secretary, Asiedu Nketia told the media Nana lost because of his "disgrace" confirming his belief that the NDC's vile propaganda and character assassination had worked well for them hence their election victory.

I believe in my heart that Ghanaians are yearning for Nana Akufo-Addo to rise up and lead the NPP and Ghana towards victory in 2016. After what transpired at the Supreme Court, people are now eager or "fire-up" to rally behind Nana for victory. I am in no way trying to canvas for Nana, I'm not his campaign manager, neither am I related to him. I simple admire him for his vision and commitment and dedication towards Ghana's progress.

In time when Ghana needed courageous people to lead the masses and express their will, he led the "Kume Preko" demo which opened the eyes of govt. led by Rawlings of things to come. People tried to destroy the cordial relationship between him and ex-Prez. Kuffour and I was shocked to note that Nana threw Kuffour a party on his birthday. He still calls the man his boss. People perceive Nana to be arrogant and proud; Nana is cool and cheerful. Nana is smart and I think that's what bothers many people the most. People should just chill and be happy that we have men like him. Nana Akufo-Addo is undoubtedly NPP and Ghana's best choice to lead the country. It's an undeniable fact!

As I mentioned earlier in this posting, I'm not trying to become Nana's campaign manager; I'm trying to convey facts to NPP leaders and its members that the "PHD" syndrome that's destroying the harmony in the party should be checked and halted! It won't help the party. Any leader or member of NPP who believes that he/she has got what it takes to lead the party should calmly file for their nomination at the party headquarters so party delegated would decide who should be the party's flag-bearer ahead of the 2016 elections. There shouldn't be and qualms and squabbles; let's do things in a peaceful and matured manner to help build the bond in the party. Nana has not mentioned, accused or attacked anyone so it will be irresponsible for any would-be aspirant to try to destroy him.

Peace and unity is what the NPP needs right now, ahead of the 2016 elections. I wish all NPP leaders and the entire membership, esp. the grassroot members all the best. May God bless us all. Amen!

Am surprised the general secretary could believe that Ghanaians will be enthused with a wheel-chair president. Perhaps that person will rather be suitable as an advisor to a healthy president. Ghanaians want to grow steadily; and not be stagnated by selfish individuals. He should rather pray for Nana to be healthy to contest rather than such opinions.
