Hahaha!!! Though Jake is not an Ashanti-Akyem, they voted him as Chairman because he looked like oyibo white man and spoke impeccable English. They didnt even care if he had a certificate or not.

We have all heard of situations where,so-called political 'White Knights' are drafted or prevailed uopn to enter a political race,because of their high standing,both in and out of the party!
But how could these "relevant" persons put the cart before the horse,so to speak?
The Prof obviously threw his hat in at the last minute to meet the deadline,and then went about canvassing for support. The feedback was not not encouraging,so he has backed out gracefully, using this 'fancy' excape route. Good move on his part;why throw away GHC 5k when it could be put to good use?
