I agree Maame. Northerners in the NPP are more decent and fair minded than those in the NDC who only see their party as the best opportunity to siphon govt money. All the affluent northern NPP members acquired their wealth through their sweat unlike those in the NDC who became rich through the P(NDC). They dont even love their kins, how else can one explain the extreme poverty in the north after 25 years of P(NDC).

Just look at what the NPP did with their pro poor policies and the wicked way with which the NDC have treated northerners throgh SADA, GYEEDA, etc. Now many northerners are trooping down south in their numbers. The hard working ones engage in kayeye whiles the lazy amongst them engage in pick pocketing and armed robbery. And the sad aspect of all these wicked acts perpetrated by the NDC and Prez Mahama is that, no northern chief, opinion leader or group have condemned this wicked Mahama govt. They see it as ok so far as it is the NDC at the helm of affairs.

It is so sad what tribalism and excessive partisanship can do to the dignity and integrity of Africans. God save Ghana.

What did we not see in Ghana when the NDC through the CJA embarked on several demonstrations, even though they had been in govt before the NPP? Did John Mahama and the NDC minority in govt not boycot proceedings when the National Health Insurance bill was introduced in parliament? Did you hear all the personal insults that were heaped on Kufuor by Rawlings, a former President? The supposed decent men in the NDC including Prof. Mills and John Mahama saw nothing wrong, defended and urged him on. Why, because it served their political interest.

The NDC is a very dishonest entity and they are the worst thing to happen to Ghana in our 4th Republic. They disgraced Pastor Otabil and used him as propaganda against free SHS only to turn back and make promises to provide free SHS. That is what is called dishonesty and pull him down.

Why didn't those in Accra, Kumasi, Aflao form different groups or clubs. It is clear their votes are needed for the Akans to come to power and after that they throw a few positions to their wealthy few and the rest are chaff! Nasara whatever members, wise up and disband immediately.
For this reason alone, the Zongo people must boycott NPP! If they don't like NDC or CPP, they must not vote for NPP.

There is nothing wrong in forming a club within a party with the aim of whipping up support for the party especially when those areas do not give the party more votes. It is always easy to accuse someone especially when you feel insecure. Which northerner was used and dumped by the NPP? Since you are more enlightened, why don't you throw more light on those allegations? I am an Akan and NPP but I get on well with people from other tribes. Every tribe in my region has equal opportunity to excel like me. If there are more Akans in NPP, surely you cannot expect a northerner or Ewe in the NPP who may not even be able to win elections in his own region to have more popularity than an Akan candidate in the NPP. That does not mean the NPP hates or disrespects northerners and if you claim to be enlightened then you should know this!

I would rather argue about policies that favour or dont favour certain tribes and not merely making appointments. If you are an Ewe and you vote for an Ewe whose policies do not favour people in the Volta Region, do you come back and say your preferred candidate loves you? Let's elevate our logic if we want to do tribal politics. These baseless and dishonest accusations does not help anyone.

The fact is that NPP cannot win without the north, so the few wise amongst you are trying to play the cards well by behaving like human beings but fools like you talk by heart and make your party look disgusting to majority of level headed northerners. NPP has not done anything good to favor the north in the past either, so they cannot win that argument no matter how you twist your argument so get off our faces with that now! I hope the new NPP have learned their lessons and will come and refrain from interfering into northern chieftaincy cases and also learn to give people of the north some respect other wise opposition will be their portion no matter who they plug there from the north. What the stupid die-hard NPP can't fathom out is not all their votes can get the NPP into power. It is the swing voters who can't! I might even cheer for the NPP to win, just as I did in 2000, after the first run. But hopefully, the splintered Nkrumaist parties may come into their senses an unite before 2016 so that we can push for power from both these two very corrupt parties of "thieves and thiefettes".

Andy, if you are hoping for the Nkrumaist parties to come together to win political power from NDC/NPP, then you have a long time to wait. From the look of things in Ghana, that is not realistic in the immediate future.
