We want a country where all have equal opportunity , guaranteed justice and freedom , any leader without the courage and integrity to ensure this is not our choice and we shall eventually make war on all such fake impostors who sell us short . The entire nation of Ghana including the delusional NPP intellectuals cannot guarantee that everyone of those holding valid voter registration cards/ID's in Ghana are legal Ghanaians. The proof of what I am saying to you and others, Otchere-Darko, is the election of a member or two in parliament who took seats in our parliament, collected wages and benefits, voted to enact laws in Ghana but turned out not to be Ghanaians. So if the NPP, with all its pretentious intellect, could not design and or stop this critical component of who is qualified to vote then why expect the EC and other gatekeepers at an election booth to deny potential voter the right to vote? When Otchere-Darko and people who conspire to make life miserable in Ghana for anyone except their kind can guarantee that only true Ghanaians are bearers of our Ghana passports and or national ID they can then turn to the voter registration roles.
To my way of thinking, an ideal Ghana is a Ghana that would have control of its borders, know and provide alien ID for non citizens, limit the number of phony foreign investors who troop into Ghana to destroy the environment; a nation that would allow all to vote because the laws we pass affect everyone who lives in Ghana. Those who always look to what is done in other nations for everything are born followers lacking the qualities to be leaders and or having the ideals and or foresight to lead Ghana. We have laws that prevent foreigners from holding national and or local offices that pass tax and other laws unto citizens and we failed.
Otchere-darko must stop living the fantasy of the Danquah-Busia ideology that reserves the rights to the presidency for a few chosen ones. It will not happen now it will not happen ever. Nkrumah defeated that ideology and Ghanaians are not willing to allow the British King and Queens as a tradition on our shores; not in your life time Otchere-Darko.
