we are tired of the reckless willfulness of these leaders from minority tribal groups who only come with corruption in their hearts and hatred of the values and potential of the majority.This govt due to their anti Akan agenda and discrimination saturated by hate and envy of the Akans can never do anything right or good . Their wickedness is so deep in their subconscious and conscious that its fully geared to destroy the Akan economy so anything they think will benefit the Akans will be sabotaged , ignored or thrown out . we have no choice but to regroup and do as much as possible without involving the govt , ndc or these pepeni/ayigbe mafia criminals . Corruption , discrimination based on their tribalism , hegemony and chauvinism has eroded all unity within the nation .Akans all over the place are waking up , with the BA chiefs voicing their reservations about GMO , western region , central region are protesting under their breaths , our dear Ashantis have made their position clear so we expect the political parties with understanding of the Akan plight like the cpp , ppp and npp to stand up or be forgotten. We can not wait another 2 years as by then the damage will be cemented beyond repair . Eyered is now everywhere and we reluctantly realize only a bloody revolution can set our people free . Its not that they are unprepared of do not know what to do to get Ghana back on track but the hate in their hearts make them continue on this path of destruction of the Akans . they are doing EXACTLY what they planned to do so dont be fooled, just examine the EU agreement.If this EPA was so good why didnt they push that proposal through the UN for the whole world to benefit . we shall be exploited to the brink of slavery all because we have an illegitimate election rigging ayigbe/pepeni govt seeking international recognition and approval , the same way jj signed us off to the IMF . As to the Herald eagerly awaiting the source of funding, they should be rather clear and that they hope, it is going to be legitimate money if his idea of setting up a bank ever materializes, whether 2PP, YPP, or whatever bank. For one, Herald, you can attract investors to contribute 120 million, and presto with a banking license and a good crew you are good to go, at least, at this stage you cannot fault him for intentinally decimating a government-owned bank and then turning around to sell it to your cronies, ino be so! wallahi!

Kwabena wake up! The fact that an NDC paper gives presumably 'commendable', or is it favorable coverage to Kyeremateng, should suggest to you or tell you that there must be plenty wrong about Kyeremateng as a possible leader of the NPP.

Have you not noticed the way the NDC has been going soft on Kyeremateng in particular over the years? If you have not noticed it, take a good look with your 'glasses' on.

On the contrary, have you also not noticed how the NDC does not spare the least opportunity at any time to demean and vilify Akuffo-Addo? They continue to call him all sorts of names and try to belittle his successes into shame. Guess why?

The NDC is mortally frightened and threatened by the resurgence of an Akuffo-Addo led NPP - especially in the face of their dismal performance in govt. For some reason which I cannot fathom, they seem to consider Akuffo-Addo as their nemesis - that is, the man they cannot overcome in a fair challenge.

I am not an NPP sympathizer - to put it mildly, but for me anything that will eliminate the NDC from the scene serves my purpose and that of the entire country.

In the chess game of politics, Alan Kyeremateng can therefore be conveniently considered as a pawn in the camp of the NDC - whether he is aware of this or not. He serves their purposes - whether he knows this or not.

Again why would any sensible politician want to set up a bank for only his party members? This is a weird idea which promises to further deepen the political polarization of the people of Ghana.

Hasnt Kyeremateng got any advisers? Yesterday he was boasting about some Presidential initiative which he set up during the time he served under Kufuor as Minister of Trade. That concept was still-born and collapsed before it could even walk. For Kyeremateng to even have the nerve to make reference to that shamefully failed project as a credit to his capability to govern this country, seems to suggest that he considers his party members - or for that matter, all Ghanaians as fools.

Kyeremateng in his seemingly desperate and reckless effort at winning the flag-bearership of the NPP, is carving an image for himself which suggests that he is a student of the Okudjeto-Ablakwa/Felix-Owusu Kwakyi school of thought.

Why do we always kill innovation in Ghana? Let's remember that Innovation is not only the introduction of technology into society. It could be a simple idea such as the one Alan is proposing. Politicians tend to be corrupt in Ghana and most African countries simply because of lack of sustainable employment/income for them. Once they are out of power, the funds flow ceases. Alan's proposal therefore is VERY INNOVATIVE INDEED. Can you imagine creating permanent jobs for 140,000 Ghanaians over say an 8 year period? His plan will have the sources of funds - that is, cashflow or income generated from the proposed NPP Bank. This money could then be channeled to finance the salaries and benefits of the Party Executives that he wants to undertake. Permanent employment/salaries for the Party Executives will definitely help put a stop to the canker of corruption that permeates deeper in our country. Let's pat Alan on the shoulder for this Innovative idea!
