In the witness box at the Supreme Court presidential petition hearing, Dr Bawumia's answers to Tsatsu Tsikata under cross examination were "you and I were not there". Now he says, "you and I were there". Unless he meant at the Supreme Court, his statement could be perjury. However, even if his statement refers to the Supreme Court, it is also very serious for a potential Vice-President and the second respondent in the presidential petition to say publicly that he rejects the Supreme Court judgement. For him to say that Nana Akufo-Addo won the election is disrespect to the highest court of the land. It is a sign that he does not believe in the rule of law and not fit for the office of Vice-President. It also means that he disagreed with Nana Akufo-Addo accepting the SC ruling. Nana Akufo-Addo disagreed with the decision but he accepted it.

According to Dr. Bawumia "the NPP is on course to win the 2016 election with Nana Akufo-Addo as the presidential candidate of the Party". Where is the evidence? Has Dr Bawumia or NPP conducted a poll which supports the assertion that Nana Akufo-Addo is on course to win 2016 election? When was such poll undertaken and would the outcome still be valid by December 2016? Two years is a very long time in politics. NPP should be careful of being over confident of winning and the risk of complacency.

NHIS grew and expanded each passing day. Mass coacoa spraying team always in place. People could attend whichever hospital they liked. Trainee students recieved allowances. Infastructual developments were daily business. Educational performance was superb. There wasn't a single occasion if panic buying. Banks were calling people on the streets to train and offer loans.

Did Bawumia think well before he made this statement? Clearly, Akuffo Addo and his people do not simply reason. They are too narrow minded, foolish and stupid. By this analysis and analogy, Bawumia is implying the Ghanaians must maintain NDC and JDM because we can't experiment with a new president, period!
Bawumia must think twice.
