We all admit that the country has a big problem which calls for a good leader to marshal the people and the resources available to overcome it. It would be foolhardy on the part of any Ghanaian to think that Akufo-Addo whose main desire is to be call a former president of Ghana possesses such a leadership quality to be relied on for the solution of our problems.

Sir John and the NPP can help Akufo-Addo to attain his childhood dream of becoming a president but definitely not the solution of the country's problems.

Let NPP's OPIAH otherwise known as Sir John continue with the concert party.

It is time Sir John and his cohorts stopped propagating this hoax of a claim of some divine ordination for Akufo-Addo to be Ghana's next President, barring which would spell doom for the Country.

Sir John only knows what he is expecting to personally gain from Akufo-Addo's Presidency. So, we should not be surprised that he is making these pronouncements. But let the discerning Ghanaian take cue from how Akufo-Addo acted when he was the Nation's Attorney-General and Foreign Minister under Kufuor's Administration.

What were his contributions to the Nation's growth that he can point to? When Cocaine was been shipped in and out of the Country like some most demanded product, what did he do about it? When the Ya-Na and his 40 relatives were massacred, how much justice was he able to find for the victims?

Dragging Dr. Bawumia along with him to show that he welcomes real diversity in our Society does not significantly wash away his infamy with the "Yen Akanfo de.." bigotted remark which was a reflection of his innermost principles.

Ghana cannot be any better place for most Ghanaians under Akufo-Addo. Period.

Bawumia at the helm of affairs could have been a different story. Others like Alan, Dr. Frimpong Boateng, Dr. Arthur Kennedy and Dr. Nduom could do much better than Nana. We do not care what Sir John thinks the NDC believes about Akufo-Addo. We have our own faculties to assess what is best for us and the Nation, besides NDC's beliefs and Sir John's. Sir John could not even keep his job at the NPP Secretariat, how does he want us to believe in his judgment?

Do you expect the other six candidate’s supporters to vote for Akuffo Addo if they lose the primaries. Most of the NPP constituency chairmen, parliamentarians and regional and district executives need to grow up. I don’t understand with all these degrees and schooling they are behaving like bush men and women. You can market your candidate why he should be voted for with his qualities and experience. You can’t market your candidate by saying if he don’t win the primaries, his supporters will not vote for the party candidate. That is childish, loose talk and irresponsible from the so called well educated men and women in NPP. That is called party divisive.
