"The NPP is not prepared to lose the 2016 elections" So which party is ready to lose the elctions? Some of these statements are very revealing of desperation setting in the NPP even at this early stage.

If NDC adds its voice to the call by Ghanaians and the other political parties for the EC to do the right thing and reform, they will oblige. So we are waiting for a strong word from the NDC in this regard.

It would be better for the NPP or any other Party that has some beef to pick with the EC go to the Court to have that problem resolved before the Elections come up.

It would be better for the NPP or any other Party that has some beef to pick with the EC go to the Court to have that problem resolved before the Elections come up.

If the EC is being unlawfully recalcitrant over any electoral policy or process, the Parties must use the Court upfront to settle that issue before the Elections. In that case, there would be less doubt on the results of the Elections and no need to block the declaration of a winner after the Elections.

Besides, if the NPP is bringing any charges against the EC in the stronghold of the NDC, it should ensure there are no bases for similar charges to be brought by the NDC against NPP in NPP stronghold. That would eliminate the likelihood of NDC cynically pursuing a retaliatory measure to deny the NPP a possible win. It is necessary to take adequate pre-emptory measures that cover all Constituencies to avoid the legal protest to the General Elections as Akufo-Addo did in 2012.

We need to hit the ground running with whoever wins in 2016 to bring the Nation back into the right lane for progress.

What a statement! You are not prepared to lose the next Elections? If u do what will u do. You can only go but to the Supreme Court but certainly not course any Armageddon in this holy land of ours. For if u love the people u profess u want to so zealously serve, u will not do that. We are all listening and watching.

I see and agree with your point. Yes, all Parties must be ready to concede losing, just as they hope to win the Elections.

If they are not ready to concede losing that is when chaos erupts. Over-confidence and complacency could cause atrocious upheavals to protest the results, no matter how clean the Election might be.

We must, however, take the NPP MP's comment to mean the NPP is leaving no stone unturned to ensure an indisputable win of the Elections.

Until the time the electoral commission officials are not appointed by political parties, we will not see peace and free and fair election. The judiciary department must be given the power to appoint electoral commissioner.
