Ntow can talk of conspiracy but it exists in every party. What was not done to Konadu, even at Sunyani by NDC people were tired of the Rawlingses? As for Kuffour, he is a great politician and a good statesman but he is part of the problems NPP is facing. What about Afoko and Agyapong? They all need to change strategies.

The wise would have advised Allan to throw his weight fully behind the people's choice and wait for four years. The NPP would have seen him as the legitimate successor to Akufo Addo. The fact of the matter is Alan is NOT matured politically, and unfortunately same goes to some of his organisers.

An aspired leader who refuses to accept defeat and join hands with the victor does NOT have respect for even those who may have supported him.

He has shown in the past to be a very
stubborn and NOT matured enough to be in Politics. This of course had been the main reason why my late Uncle da Rocha described him as the 'loose cannon".

I think he should be advised to bow out of politics and come back when he attains Nana's Age.

After all, he has NEVER BEEN TESTED, MARKETED NOR TRIALLED.

If Alan wants to be humiliated any further, then he must ignore that still small voice talking to him and listen to those empty barrels. One enters a contest with the hope of winning. But immediately you know that there is no way you are going to win, why bother waste your breath, knowing that another contest which may be more favourable to you is just around the corner? This is not the Olympic Games where participation is paramount. This is a winner takes all event.
Ohene Ntow and people like Katakyie will only urge Alan on because that is the only way they can hope to safeguard their daily bread in the next couple of months - Alan being the provider. But at the end of the day, it is all clear that any contest in October will be a sheer waste of money, since the result will not be any different. I would bet the gap between the winner and a perfect score would only become narrower!
People who claim to love the party always act in the best interest of the party. Alan should realize that another bitter campaign will not only seek to hurt Nana Addo, but his own reputation will not escape the aberrations. Just give up now and hope that the electorate will forgive your folly and be kinder to you next time.
