He is running away from his own shadow. These are the things we hear when huge sums of money are passed through people in authority to buy votes for a candidate and yet, the results fall below expectation.

The man was not joking and he meant business. However, the action he wanted to take to punish the ungrateful ones would rather cause him more harm than good hence his retraction. He would have faced party sanctions and that would expose some people or even cause them the primaries.

This Chairman has exposed his own diabolical modus operandi and now he is using the media to deny what he freely said. He is deceiving on one but himself. Yet, he claims he is a democrat and part of a party that believes in democracy. What and whose democracy? By their deeds, we shall know them.

The NPP leadership can go on and deceive themselves by compelling their members to vote for particular candidates through force and coercion but they cannot do that to the totality of the Ghanaian electorate come 2016.
