The biggest mistake Ghanaians will make and will forever regret is to give the Presidency to Nana Bin-Addo. He is going to loot to the extent that we will think Kuffuor was an angel.
When people say Nana Addo is not corrupt I laugh. The only thing that saved us is that, he never got any position that he could amass wealth. Even the few he got, there are questions about his involvement in the Drill Ship, Unaccounted for Diplomatic Passports etc.
U know Nana does not need such wealth to succeed he is a self made mans family.does not need ill gotten wealth to succeed unlike people like u and ur pay masters u are soon hungry u eat with both hands

How do you know he does not need such wealth? Did he not sell his Family's property to boost his campaign? Did we not hear of how some of his siblings were considering Court action to retrieve their share in the Property?

Don't make an Angel of anyone for Political expediency, just as you should not make a demon of someone you oppose politically. Be pragmatic and hope with caution.
We so erroneously repose too much trust in People we know little about and only from the Media accounts to our own detriment.
We thought someone was a Messiah unto us when we were scrambling for Independence. He later showed some dictatorial tendency that we disliked, as some made him a demi-god to spoil him far beyond his own expetation. Later we brutally dumped him to die in exile.
Then another came that we considered the epitome of the Democracy we craved for. We thought Democrcacy in Ghana would be globally exemplary under his Premiership. Soon, he also ditched the principles he had stood for to win the Elections. He ignored the People's right to see legal redress at the Courts, and ordered the sacking of 100's of poor Civil Servants.
Then came another leader who we touted as 'Junior Jesus', when he said all the good things we wanted to hear and enthusiastically led us to clean a few rotten mess around us. I guess we cheered him on way too much. Because he, too, indulged in unprecedented brutalities that made all humane folks cringe. We even later accused of the same evil that he wildly run around brutally punishing others for.
Then, again, came along another we embraced for promising us the freedom to own property. Strangely, we had forgotten that that Freedom already existed among us, even under the stringent restrictive advisory of Nkrumah's, and was never taken away from us. Before we knew what he really meant, others allege, he had overseen the accumulation of Wealth by family and cronies that many believed had gone too far. I guess he wanted to see so much affluence flow inside the Country that he did not care how he did it, really. So, he designated his two best pals to lead our quest for Oil Capital (not the Oil which was already there). And when the two friends ended up making a kill for profit for their role, owning 1/3 of what the whole Nation of 24 Million plus was reported to be getting from that deal, we began scratching our heads to see how much of his promise of "Property Owning Democracy" had been fulfilled by him, his cronies and the rest of us.
Well, it did not just end there. In our typical rush to change course, we overzealously entrusted our faith in another who had been preaching "Peace" (Asomdwoye or Asomdwee) to us all that while, and led us to believe he was, probably, closer to God than the Angel Michael himself. Well, no sooner than he arrived onthe 'throne' than we noticed a catastrophic landslide of our Nation's revenue into the deep, deep, in fact, fathomless pit of pockets of his crooked cronies and Associates. There began a frenzy among the cronies of the 'Prince- (or is it the 'King-of-Peace' ('Asomdwoye-hene') to look for a comparable mass of wealth from elsewhere as the friends of the former leader made from their Oil deal. It seemed the eagerness to find similar source of booty as in the Oil deal drove the 'Prince-of-Peace' to hire many youthful but inexperienced political novices, whose fervor to search for lootable booty knew no bounds just as their zeal to grab, share and loot whatever came their way or even existed in our Treasury. So, we had STX and other shady projects shrouded in exquisite hoax dragged into our Parliament for approval only to fizzle out before they could even take off.
Our Parliamentarians had been fed with mind-twisting tasty Korean delicacies and hifalutin red-carpet treatment on their so-called fact-finding visit to South Korea, leading to dumbing of their judgment in approving the stinky STX deal that never was.
The Nation was not spared the hallucinatory lofty promises after that. And it still seemed to buy everything the 'Prince-of-Peace' offered, including the fallacy of the real state of his failing health. He managed a two-minute public display of high, bustling energy on the Tarmac of our Kotoka International Airport to throw yet another smoke- screen over our eyes that he was in perfect health.
But, just as a proverb goes in Akan that: if a testicular-hernia-afflicted-patient denies the presence of his ailment, the growing size of his balls and the sheer weight of the drooping, over-extended sac between his legs impedes his own walking, the 'Asomdwoye-hene' could not cheat the inevitability of his stupendous hoax he blazenly put up on the Tarmac, and soon passed on to the shock of the gullible masses.
Did we learn our lessons by now? Heck no! We once again fell for the lieutenant of the fallen 'Prince-of-Peace', who also played us again from the same play-book his predecessor used. This ardent Disciple of the 'Prince-of-Peace', more or less, continued with the same team of novices around him, and sang to us, rather too shrilly, the hypnotic Hymns of his magical ability to conjure things to just happen out of the Blue, as he calls for them. "E dey be keke"!! (Things would just happen as he commanded, no sweat!), was his defeaning mantra.
Sadly, we had, in our trance, somehow forgotten that Manna had ceased falling from the Skies after the true 'Prince-of-Peace', Jesus of Nazareth, concluded his physical presence on Earth. So, we blindly gave the Presidency to the 4th consecutive 'John' to continue messing up with our heads.
This reminds me of some clownish remark one of my Elementary School teachers used to say to us: "that we did not have to sheepishly follow some ignoramuses john, john, john, like John"--referring to how many early Christians simply followed John, a Disciple of Christ, unquestionably till they fell afoul with the existing Authority and met harsh legal penalties, including even death.
Well, when will we, Ghanaians, wake up and sift through the chaff for the real nutritious grains? Are we using the proper, requisite tools and modalities to make our choices for the leadership of our Nation to finally put an end to our gullible following of unproductive, corrupt, insincere, insentive, visionless, rapaciously selfish Politicians?
Hmmm....! We must not lose sight of these snake-oil sellers of Politicians when they bolt overseas to purchase the best of the Medical care, as their own passivity in oversight, or insensitive diversion of our funds leaves our Hospitals perpetually under-resourced.
Long Live Ghana!!!

Here we go again with faults without verification. I listened to different views on this topic on Adom FM this morning and was amazed at how people critic without any concrete proof but just plain hearsay. Of all on the panel, I was shocked that, the only person who actually talked sense or took his time to really think before speaking is no other person than a hater of the NPP. I bow my head for once to Alhaji Bature the notorious propagator of lies and deceit. Man, I used to hate your butt but I guess we sometimes hate just for the hell of it. Bature refused to rush into any accusations until the authenticity of the tape, the period of reference to said infraction and the arithmetic additions add up to said amount before he gets entangled in this mess. Strange for an NDC fella not taking a clean swipe when the opportunity was there for the taking. It's a shame our own NPP men behaved otherwise. Our love with taking a sentence out of someone's speech and turning it into a book has to stop. We dwell too much on the idea of being too known, and a destroyer of others so seriously that, we have lost our sense of truth and lies. Please let the Minority Leader explain further what he really means by what he has thrown to the our political dogs before we make judgments.
