After Mills found Betty Moulds guilty of judgement debt payments the only thing he could do was to move her to the Education dept to continue her looting. Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one
by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

How relevant is this revelation to our National Politics other than to show how crucial national issues are totally shoved to the back burner while flimsy, personal, self-absorbing, soap-operatic ballyhoos are given prominence by our Politicians?

Ghartey should have as well canvass for either of his parents to ascend the Presidency for having given birth to him, raised him and given him the Education with which he gained access to the Law Chambers where he met his wife. I think his parents deserve greater commendation than Akufo-Addo for making him who he is. I do not think the fine lady who married him did so because he worked at the Akufo-Addo Law firm but because of who he really is as a person. If that is not the case, then both of them used all the wrong criteria to choose their marriage partners, and his marriage is based on only flaky motives.

Now, we know why he abandoned his own ambition to be the next President to fall in line behind Akufo-Addo.

Well, with this kind of value assessment, Ghartey probably did not deserve putting his name in the hat for eligible candidates for the Presidency, either. And the Nation is all the better without him at the top. So, he should never again try to come back to us for our support to become the Flagbearer.

The Nation's problems are more important to us than his desire for the woman Akufo-Addo led him to meet.

She didn't even say "Good Morning", let alone any "Happy Birthday." I thought, "Well, that's wives for you. The children will remember. "The children came down to breakfast and didn't say a word.

When I started to the office I was feeling pretty low and despondent. As I walked into my office, my secretary, Janet said, "Good Morning, Boss, Happy Birthday." I felt a little better. Someone had remembered. I worked until noon, then Janet knocked on my door and said, "You know it is such a beautiful day outside and it is your birthday, let's go to lunch, just you and me." I said, "By George, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go.

We went to lunch. We didn't go where we normally go. We went out into the country to a little private place. We had two martinis and enjoyed lunch tremendously. On the way back to the office, she said, "You know, it is such a beautiful day, we don't need to go back to the office, do we?" I said, "No, I guess not." She said, "Let's go to my apartment."

After arriving at her apartment she said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I think I'll go into the bedroom and slip into something more comfortable. Sure," I excitedly replied. She went into the bedroom and, in about six minutes she came out carrying a big birthday cake, followed by my wife, children and dozens of our friends. Some times a lot of people are not kind to their benefactors. So your expression of gratitude to Nana (Akufo-Addo) for introducing your wife to you and also opening the doors of his law firm to you, as a young attorney, for pillage is admirable. But I'm afraid, Mr Ghartey, you chose the most inappropriate time and place (campaign platform) to disclose Nana's role in your marriage, something that for all intents and purposes should be for private conversation.
Do you think you made a good case for Nana's bid for the presidency by inserting such a private matter into the campaign? What do you think? Candor will help here.
If I were you, my talk would've been about Nana's record as cabinet minister - his years at the Justice Department, Interior and Foreign Affairs.
You've committed a faux pas. A self-destruct and drawing needless ire to yourself and Nana's Campaign and the larger NPP party.
