Hon. Emmanuel Agyarko said some politicians in power have become obstinate to the extent that they have developed “yentie obia” attitude as they can always have their way through their dubious deals with a backing from the majority in Parliament to suppress the suffering masses.
Ghana is sitting on a time-bomb with the numerous happenings in the country as the government has taken entrenched decision to ignore all the demands of the citizenry.
They feel they have the majority in Parliament to pass any bill that addresses their interest than Ghanaians..

Though a staunch NDC supporter, I am disappointed that the current regime's mentality and actions are extremely harmful to Ghana - even worse than NPP. Consider the following:
1) Govt departments and institutions now charge too much for public service, even though they are funded by the govt. Meanwhile any IGF generated is looted by the employees.
2) Now, every intervention by govt you hear "PPP". Meanwhile this is an easy mechanism for individuals to take over public assets.
3) PPP is now further corrupted to allow the services provided to the govt to be pre-financed by the individual. This gives the provider the chance to over inflate. Invariably the provider is actually just fronting for the politician. What is worse, the provider does not pre-finance at all: He merely demands payment from govt and uses that to provide the service/good. A good example is Ghana@Brazil where the the Travel Agents that sprouted after we qualified were presented to us pre-financing their service!
3) PPP is the potent corruption tool ever invented by Ghanaian politicians - even far worse than NYEP which was created by Kufuor. We await spectacular embarrassment arising out of PPP.
4) Our government appears totally incapable of punishing wrong-doers. And this just opens the sluice gate for all public officials to invent ways of looting. If our CHRAJ Commissioner is embroiled in the worst form of abuse of office, need anyone tell us that the situation has gotten out of hands?
5)Why should we gift victory in the 2016 elections to NPP under circumstances of governance paralysis? We have always touted ourselves as people-centred, and the masses have always aligned with us because our policies and actions have convinced them that we represent their interest. Now the NDC actions are far more injurious to the interest of the masses than NPP.
6) What is most worrying now is that the govt is just finding ways to privatise govt properties to themselves. The worst minister as far as this is concerned is the Transport Minister who is doing everything to run down STC in order to sell it to their cronies. Even more worrying is the Tema Shipyard which the late Prof fought hard to retrieve it from the Malaysians. Now this Minister has set up a committee to privatise this most valuable national asset. Imagine the increase in shipping traffic to ghana and how much we could profit from it? We have lost a lot because Kufuor sold Ghana Airways. This woman minister is the worst enemy of Ghana. Tell me, what has she achieved for the transport sector? Absolutely nothing! Even Kufuor's MMT has been mismanaged. All her preoccupation is how to loot public resources.
Why should we abuse the trust of the masses in us and pay them with such injustice? On what grounds should we, as NDC, ask the masses to vote for us when we are far worse than NPP as far a s their welfare is concerned?

I think the writing is on the wall that Ghanaians have had it to their eyeballs with the magnificent incompetence of the NDC gov't, the legendary ineptitude of the NDC gov't, the crass thievery and looting of the NDC gov't, the outrageous failed promises of the NDC gov't, the mindboggling propaganda and deceit of the NDC gov't, and clearly, for the NDC gov't to even think of winning any elections in the country in 2016, shows that, they must be smoking something. It would not be a wonder since the Mahama led NDC gov't has chalked another feat, in putting Ghana at the forefront indeed, as the number one country in Africa where wee is consumed the most.
Ghanaians have given the NDC gov't the chance from 2009 to 2016 to deliver, and the results have been an astronomical catastrophic disaster. They should not try to pull a Campaoregate in the country, because it would not succeed.
The Mahama/Amissah Arthur NDC gov't have not delivered, so they should leave, so another party comes and tries their hands at the wheel. Ghana deserves better.
