  Why are our leaders afraid of making things as open and simple in Ghana as possible for the ordinary Ghanaian? I ask this cos there are nations like the USA, which system we want to copy and adopt. First, we have more than two different Parties. Second, we do NOT have a two-tier Parliament. Third, why do we have a (secret) Strongroom for the collation of voting results which is only accessible to one man, the EC? This a recipe for the corruption that we are facing in the country today.We can avoid the "winner takes all system, if we limit our Political Parties to only FOUR- two for the right and two for the left. I will explain at another time. We have to let the MEDIA in in the colation centers in the Regions to announce the winner(s) at the various local stations to a National Center where the G-TV, in DIRECT transmission, will announce every local and regional winner(s) for everyone to see as it is done on CNN .Our local governments should also be strenghtened to allow equal development which will priotise locally,the needs of the community. This will allow the Central Government to concentrate on the NationalProgrammes. I will explain my take at limiting the Parties to four later.
