WHILE THE ACC GENERAL PAYS WORKERS OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH WORKERS, OWNERS OF PRIVATE HEALTH FACILITIES CAN'T AND ARE FOLDING UP. SERIOUSLY, ALL PRIVATE HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDERS MUST MEET TO ANNOUNCE THE OBITUARY OF THE NHIS AND START 'CASH AND CARRY' IF THEY DON'T WANT THIS PROPAGANDA-INFESTED NDC GOVT TO COLLAPSE THEIR BUSINESSES. AFTER ALL THE KNUST HOSPITAL AND PRESTEA GOVT HOSPITAL HAVE STARTED 'CASH AND CARRY.'   I HAVE SERIOUS PROBLES WITH MY VOTERS ID CARD WHICH IS TWO DIFFERNT ID NUMBERS AND OMISSION OF NAME. I WASTED THREE DAYS WITH EC OFFICIALS TO CORRECT THE ERROR

  The EC did not announce the exercise to the general public. There was no inkling of such a process in the media. The media was basically kept in the dark about the exercise, and so by the time they got wind of the process, about half of a week had passed into the exercise.
  It is important for the EC to show and demonstrate a conscious effort at making the electoral system and processes work in the country, working in concert with all the various stakeholders, the political parties, the media and the citizenry. There should be transparency and openness in the conduct of the EC to engender the kind of integrity and credibility that should necessarily accompany the mandate of the EC in our democracy.
