If there is relative peace in the North now, credit must be given to the current NDC Govt led by a Northern indigene, John Mahama, who has so far refused to be drawn into any of the latent ethnic conflicts. UContrast this to the NPP,once they assume power, they rake up all these conflicts with the intent of reversing the status quo and imposing their own chiefs and tribal kings even if it means killing some people. It happened twice in Yendi in 1970 and 2002. What a party?
