If they really wanted to be part of the protest against the ethnocentric pronouncements made by Osafo Maarfo, why is it that they as a party have not officially condermed him. Nana Addo, their leader has been loudly silent as if he is in total support of that ethnocentism.

It had been alleged, but had not been brought out publicly to be assessed by Ghanaian voters. Now being it true or not Ghanaians must thank our stars for the love and peace that has existed from the 06:03:1957. We do not have any ethnic problem in our dear country. I do not belong to any political party, I belong to any selfless Ghanaian who is ready to build a better economy for all Ghanaians. I Do not think political party can win elections with ethnic issues. NDC must stop un necessary ethnic campaign and do what is necessary to bring Ghanaians out of the economic mess. Regions in Ghana do not contain just one ethic group so if someone is worried about his or her region being sidelined in terms of development then wherein lies the tribalism? Someone from the Eastern Region makes a statement and then the Ashantis have to atone for it?? Jokers in charge in Ghana now, eh? If you're a Ga, Eve or a Northener(whatever that means) can moan about anything and go scot free but an Akan can't do a similar thing?? Wher is the fairness???
