Until we have changed the way our government operates and the legislative and executive arms earn the income that suits their input, there will be no change in the life of the ordinary Ghanaian; by that I don't mean only poor people, but anybody outside politics who is also not a celebrity.
What do I mean by that? Until parliamentarians and ministers stop getting wages that they don't deserve, they will never see any reason why Ghanaians are complaining. If they see the need for all the benefits that they have allotted to themselves to make life comfortable because to them that is the reality of today's economic condition, why do they think that comfort should be denied others outside politics? People of Ghana, your legislators and the executive arm will never change anything to their disadvantage. It is you and I who will have to change the status quo. I'm bringing this up today and I believe people will take it up from here and talk about it till the constitution is amended. The amendment must see a change in the situation where legislators pass bills on benefits that goes to them without any trouble, but refuse to do the same for others. They must not decide how much they earn; that must be decided by the people, and it must go up in proportion with that of the rest of us. The free this and free that must cease. That does not make them feel what we feel, and therefore does not lead to taking sensible decisions to solve our problems. It will also be less attractive to nobodies who resign their jobs to seek greener pasture there only to enrich themselves.
The second issue is the situation where a parliamentarian is given a ministerial appointment yet, continue to be a legislator. Yes, the constitution allows that, but common sense must tell us that it is not proper, and they can never perform efficiently in both capacities. I'm therefore not surprise that things are not working for us. Somebody must talk about this, I have started it. Let's talk and call for a change. We have the power to turn things around. The politicians will not do it, left to them alone.

Incumbent Chairman of the governing party Dr Kwabena Adjei has told starr news in an interview that he is being blamed by members of the National Democratic Congress, for the failures of the current Government.

“Everything the Government has done and has not done well from the energy crisis to lack of funds for GETfund scholarship to school feeding programme to poor road network to lack of potable water in certain places, all are government responsibilities, I’m not the person to be blamed, but when I go out they blame me, as if I was the minister of water resources works and housing, minister of roads, minister of energy, minister of this, they put it on me,” the two-time Chairman who is running for a third consecutive term told Ibrahim Alhassan.

The former Minister in the Rawlings Government, nonetheless conceded that the complaints of the party “mirror the general view” of Ghanaians in the country.

“…I take some of the blame because I’m the party chairman, and I can’t go out of my way to deny,” he said.

Just analyze the recent reshuffles , Julius Debrah - pepeni , Colins Dauda - pepeni Mustapha Ahmed - pepeni . We now have the Al Capone mafia style in power as since the know all the loop holes are able through murder and other activities cover up their crimes although the damage is evident for all who want to see to see . Any society or nation that can not bring down these Al Capones/boko harems is ultimately doomed to chaos and anarchy so keep your cutlasses ready. Calling for unity is only empty talk used by these manipulators to draw away attention from the real issues of discrimination against the Akans .NDC lies when they tell us Mahama was Atta Mills choice of successor , when he was alive we all remember Mahama himself saying he had no ambition to stay in office after the mandate of Mills but when he realized Mills has authorized investigations into his blatant corruption he used his moslem mafia security boys to kill his boss . Some Voltarians occupied important positions during Jerry and Mills times, especially in the police and military but Volta region remains one of the poorest and most neglected regions. This has been the trend in Ghana especially under this government where people go in demonstration to get some individuals appointed so you will see some politicians working through these people to get appointments,we have to blame the president for appointing and dismissing people based on agitations of few including some in the media.

This particular story I read it at Joyfm yesterday and I consider it as as one of the most outrageous and foolish demands in the history of mankind.we have 275 constituencies in the country so if every constituency has to have a minister that means we're gonna have 275 ministers which makes me to keep wondering if these people actually have their brains functioning.
We should all know that this nonsense that there is apathy towards party work by these Kasu and Fedo guys is not true,people in the Volta region and I believe throughout the country don't vote because one individual got position in government,if people have apathy towards this government can never be true,not even one percent that it is because somebody from the area who they may not even know didn't get appointment.
This crap is only coming from these party executives in the area who think if somebody gets appointment they can manipulate the person to get whatever they want as they have been doing to the MPs making so many unrealistic demands from them.

Some miscrients, including outgoing min of health even before govt assurance committee stated the other day that, some projects in Asante region have to be completed for 1,000,000 votes for NDC from there. NDC politics! Hence no value for money projects and programmes under NDC.
