  Since J. B. Danquah is showing he did not learn a thing while at UofM and or at the downtown Minneapolis St. Thomas campus I am here to remind him that the conditions that make privatization and or government-private financed entities sustainable and successful are not and will never be available in Ghana. He should stop believing in the classic classroom economic and financial theories that are successful and viable when applied in the US and other free-market driven economies do not exist in Ghana.
  
  First off the reason why FDI principles are successful in driving up development in free-market oriented nations and even in some third world nation but have been proven to not work in Africa especially Sub Sahara African nations are clear and unequivocal. A research publication by Elizabeth Asiedu, a Ghanaian lecturer with PhD at Washington University in Missouri USA did shed light on the failures of those applicable theories in SSA nations. In Ghana it is unwise to foster those theories without looking at culture and the lack of institutions with jurisdiction to ensure success. Unfortunately it was because of educated Ghanaians like you who supported the implementation of the decentralized urban and rural planning and development scheme without the needed study and evaluation of the viability of sustaining community development via local taxes that has led to the fiasco we see in district after another district in Ghana.
  
  Without sustainability of funding sources at the local level the best you and the rest of the rotten educated bunch can do is sell Ghana piece by piece in an attempt to prop up those failed ideas. J.B. Danquah, I say to you that some of your ideas did not hold in Minnesota and without a sustainable local funding source you can sell every land in the Subin area to the very rich in the world and in the end there will be all smoke and no cigar/fire.
