  Sad in Ghana we think once someone has been in parliament for too long we think that person should be replaced.
  
  EXPERIENCE in legislation matters. In other democracies, hardworking, effective and productive legislators stay for many years because they contribute a lot to legislation and society. The late US senators Byrd (West Virginia)and Kennedy (Massachusetts) are examples. Their records are there.
  
  Let us not reduce parliamentary membership to because you have been there too long, I too should be there. It should not work like that. NPP as a party needs experience persons like Kyei Mensa, Dr. Akoto Osei, Dr. Owusu-Afriyie Akoto, Dr. Anane, Papa Owusu-Ankoma, Prof. Gyan-Baffour, Ursula Owusu, Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP, and a host of hard working MPs who Nana Akufo Addo will need when he becomes president.

  Also, because a non-performing and non-productive MP has the money to buy delegates to win primaries does not mean that, that MP should continue to go to parliament to do nothing.
