The politics of choosing a northerner as a vice presidential candidate is the dumbest and most stupid idea ever concocted by 25 million people in our country. The sad thing is that, we don't even know how stupid and inane we are as a people because the brains are not there. We are people prone to making mistakes all the time but we hardly learn from them.

With all the trouble we as a nation are going through with the vacuous leadership of John Mahama who was super imposed on the country as a result of this useless and dumb political process, we are incubating and in fact cementing another disaster with Akuffo Addo and Bawumia NPP ticket. The nation knew John Attah Mills had poor health coming in, yet he chose an incompetent Mahama as his vice; the only credential at the time of his appointment was that he is northerner.

Here we have another situation where we know Akuffo Addo is with poor health, and may not go a full term in office if elected, yet he has picked as his vice this kid, Bawumia, who has no experience in life or politics; yes he finished his phd at Simon Fraser in Canada and was shoed in straight from university to become deputy governor of the central bank, thanks to his influential father. Bawumia on his own has not been able to find a job on his own merit. When he was kicked out as deputy governor by NDC in 2008, it was JA Kufuor who landed him a job at African Development Bank in Zimbabwe. Book knowledge and leadership are mutually exclusive, and to those Ghanaians who are blinded by partisan politics and infatuated by this new kid of the block I say good luck!!!
