This how come people like Sir John and Sammy Awuku, Kennedy Agyampong, Kwabena Agyampong and the all die bie man himself came to prominence. They had constructed an NPP Monster around a culture of arrogance and intolerance. All the moderates following after Kuffour were chased away as being cowards. Now the monster has started feeding on its own members. NDC had a violent past because of its military antecedents, but when a purely civilian party like the NPP decides that militancy and intolerance is the way forward for them, the results are what we have on our hands today.

Thier management style of the NPP has been shrouded in a secret agenda that no one seem to understand. Anything these two party administrators touches, signals confusion and generates tension, rather than the excitement of the party's base. To some extent, they are being suspected of being in bed of the ruling NDC. The death of Adam Mahama may be a done deal of their party leadership. Afoko and Agyapong must be shown the exit, whether complicit or not. The Party's flag bearer must be given a free hand to appoint his own party chairman and a general secretary that he can trust to work with.
