It seems to me that our educational institutions are only designed to encourage students to cram and swot for the limited purposes of passing exams and getting useless certificates and degrees with which to brag about. Of course after that, we then revert to our typical illiterate mindset which is very convenient for imperialist propaganda and brainwashing.
The seemingly innocuous but sad comments made above by Efo and Aluta Continua, which shows that they have inherited the subjective pro-imperialist negative attitude towards China and Russia, specifically, countries that made it possible for us to free ourselves from centuries of slavery and colonialism, exemplifies this terrible condition of mental retardation and backwardness.
Lest we have forgotten, let us remind ourselves that, in spite of the shameful free-for-all scramble to seize and loot the resources and human beings of Africa for hundreds of years, Russia and China never took part in this orgiastic plunder and genocide of the African people. As we speak today, there is not one single Russian or Chinese military base or installation on the whole of the African continent. Our oppressors, whom we like to speak for and who we seem to love so much, still continue to have several military installations all over Africa. Some of them even have the effrontery and the impudence to establish a military institution on behalf of the whole of Africa as if the entire African continent is still their bona fide property .
Ignorance, they say, is a disease. I wish to add that it is in fact a dangerous disease. Any African who gets alarmed that a 'few' Chinese are undertaking illegal small-scale surface mining activities in Ghana, but are rather not incensed that our oppressors have cheaply bought off our major gold, bauxite, diamond and oil mines and have employed modern-day Ghanaian slaves and house-niggers as front-men to do their dirty work for them for a few Cedis whilst they sit comfortably in far-away Europe and America reaping off the profits of billions of dollars, need to have their heads examined.
Ironically, it is rather the Russians and the Chinese continue to give massive moral, diplomatic and material assistance free of charge to Ghana and Africa whilst our slave-master friends who have freely made countless trillions of dollars from hundreds of years of slavery, exploitation and colonialism, will not even give simple common visas to the many Ghanaians who also wish to flock to their countries to also go and do illegal work like the Chinese do here. In spite of the fact that it is the resources of Africa which built over 60% of their economies, nowhere in Europe or America is there any public evidence of gratitude to this fact. On the other hand, there are many public places in both China and Russia which out of regard and respect for their historical accomplishments, are called by the names of great Africans.
And by the way, Aluta Continua, if several decades after the propagandist lie, you still cannot distinguish the difference between a combine harvester and a snow plough, then you have some serious schooling to go back to.
