You seem to be repeating what Rawlings and his misguided, inexperienced "let the blood flow" chanting youth said years ago. They claimed our older leaders had failed and they violently took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' chain" and abject poverty.
The so-called revolutionaries, who were wearing car tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires and cut-throat capitalists enjoying money and power fraudulently. Throughout the period when Ghana was appropriately nicknamed "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun, fear and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the same group overseeing the sinking of this country today, and they will do everything to rig the elections as usual to continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.

Mr. Mahama and the NDC are not interested in priorities that would ease the suffering of Ghanaians; they are interested in prestigious signature projects for the enjoyment of few ruling elites in order to deceive gullible voters, regardless of whether the inflated projects are priorities and value for money or not. Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?
Governance under the NDC government is about deceit and 'opium of the people'; they enjoy everything here on earth but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they've already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three more years. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

I don't know what the so-called leftists are talking about, and I don't believe NPP is behind the strikes either. As far as I know, NPP is only highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that they would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is, in fact, a genuine and legitimate politics since the failings are true and not false. Everybody in Ghana today knows and feels that cost of living under this NDC government is unbearable and NPP is democratically presenting itself as an alternative and seizing the opportunity to convince the electorate not to vote for NDC in the next elections.
Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with an opposition highlighting the failings of an incapable government in order to wrest power from it democratically. NDC is the cause of the strikes because of the massive corruption, over spending, reckless borrowing and overall economic mismanagement that have brought untold hardship on Ghanaians. Moreover, NDC could not frivolously spend $5bn of public money outside the budget in 2012 to buy the conscience of gullible voters and expect that everything would be normal in the subsequent years without any difficulties in our economy.

The facts speak for themselves , for example before NDC took over we had the rating of a an A- or AAB with a tendency to a A+ of AAA rating , today we are a C- heading for a D due to reckless borrowing , gross mismanagement and institutionalized corruption which has stopped all investments even from our own Akan dominated diaspora. The fact is our economy is in shambles and our rating in the toilet, not suprising as our leading is nothing but a toilet carrier's son like most of his pepeni appointees .This Boko harem fake ass govt has not even read the bible to notice that it says even the ''woe unto any nation which allows its slave to rule '' which means intoday's language that any nation that allows the incompetent to rule will most surely suffer. The institutions of state are so weakened by the corruption that things are falling apart right in front of our eyes and we see disaster after disaster occurring.Dumsor,flooding, and bankruptcy around the corner and yet they still instead of resigning are hoping for another term. Ministers(Avoka)are so incompetent that one minister had his son go for army training as all they know is how to chop Ghana's money,none know how to make it.Kuffuor sold our gold field so the tens of billions that leave the country every year is not invested in the economy and this govt can not not create a law that will force them to keep the money here or tax them 90% of the profits as they do not know the wealth of the nation must belong to the people of the nation .
