President John Dramani Mahama's efforts to unite the USA and Cuba have yielded results. The 'USA & Cuba have formally restored diplomatic relations'. During the last UN security council meeting, remember in straight words, the Ghanaian president openly and boldly asked the USA to drop the over 4 decades embargo on Cuba as it had outlived it's usefulness, a request most world leaders will not dare to make except probably president Mogabe of Zimbawe. Today this has seen a reality. It was in the same forum that the JDM made the famous statement that 'Ebola knows no borders' with a passionate appeal to world leaders to do more to overcome the plague affecting Liberia and Guinea. His Excellency JDM you are a president and a prophet.

Akufo knows what needs to be done. He is unwilling or unable to do it. He prefers to seen in public with a shortie (Blay) to a towering giant (Paul Afoko) so that his stature is enhanced.

For unity in the NPP first people like Bugri Nabu and Freddie Blay should be reigned in.They are too divisive.Second,the chairman and the General secretary should be allowed to do their constitutionally mandated jobs and third the ff among others should be brought to the round table and any issues with them amicably settled:Kwame Pianim,Wereku Brobbey,Nyaho Tamakloe and the other perceived "against" members of the party.Without these the NPP should be ready for another defeat in 2016.
