Can he explain why road engineers from Ghana go to Cote D'Ivore to help construct their roads and bridges while most of our roads are in such deplorable stages? Let me explain to him that we have no money to construct our roads. Yes, Cote D'Ivoire id doing better than Ghana if we consider that they were in that civil war for that long, which led to most of their educated folks fleeing the country and infrastructure destroyed.
We can only set examples between Ghana and Westen Europe but there is no way we can compare our country to Britain, France, Germany or USA.

Some of these government officials are disgrace to the government and the party.
Nobody in his right mind will say something like that even if Ghana is developed than Ivory Coast which she is not,we are far behind them.

How on earth can anybody in his right mind say we should compare Ghana to Britain and Europe,how dumb is that,did he know what he was talking about,did he smoke something or he does not know or even read about Britain and Europe?

Look at our roads,the streets in Accra alone with manholes not potholes in some places and even our so called harbor city that has more manholes than most places.

Ghanaians must begin to treasure our land. We have White Gold (rubber), black Gold (oil) red Gold(Palm oil, golden pod and off course the real Thing GOLD. Ghana is second to South Africa on the continent. We have Bauxite (Aluminium Gold) Manganese and iron so this small nation of ours is blessed. What is misssing though is good leadership. Ghana will again lead Africa

How does any one compare the environmental filth, corruption, political arrogance, lawlessness and unbearable social economic hardship we find ourselves here in Ghana to lawful countries with established working institutions within the EU and even Ivory Coast which is fast coming back from civil war?

I dare this ignorant disrespectful boy to travel to Abidjan and visit areas like Plateau and the internationally patronized hotels and the clean market places.

In Abidjan and even small Lome gutters are covered unlike Ghana where stinky gutters are left to overflow and carry people to their death or become mosquito bleeding grounds to infect us with malaria and other killer deceases.

Just yesterday a report came out that Ghana had actually retrogressed in terms of sanitation and this had consequences for better health delivery and outcomes under the WASH program and in meeting the MDG's.
Afghanistan and Syria were way ahead of Ghana. Has Sam George heard of the country Afghanistan before? What about Syria? We want to believe Sam George watches TV and hears about global news. Does he know what is happening in Syria?
Clearly from the comments of Sam George there is a rather fast paced screaming dumb down in the John Mahama NDC gov't and it is dangerous. It is hurting and has hurt this country soooo terribly.

Bouake was badly affected by the war but fastly recovering. Even their money in its higher denominations is still better than ours. It does a lot of things. I know all these places. now in Cote divoire for almost two years now. I travel round the country for business. It's is an amazing fact that Ghana with all its peaceful atmosphere for too long cannot compare in terms of roads, processing industries, petroleum electricity etc even though CI is coming out of a long war. Their beautiful roads are designed by their own french trained engineers.
Please Mr Sam George Ghanaians know you are doing what you are paid to do for a living but sometimes your blatant lies provoke millions and our brother in Cote Divoire will not forgive you if they hear this.
