Even, Buhari, a Military Man, knew that the current leadership of Ghanaian Government is extraordinary weak he has orders his Arm Forces to take over the Airspace in which for the past 70yrs, i.e since 1945, Ghana has been in charge.
Ghanaian have to quickly do away with this boy called President, to get the Country back working again otherwise, the current untold hardest hardship can lead to Civil disobedient.

Professor K.A. Busia did not say that he was going to stay in power forever, and he did not declare Ghana as a one-party state either. He was given a 5 year mandate to deliver on his promise for Ghanaians to judge whether to extend his mandate or elect a different leader freely and democratically. But the communist relics who were still hiding in our midst got panicked and overthrew him prematurely for fear of his progressive achievements. Truly, the man knew exactly what he was coming to do to alleviate the suffering of his people, through an alternative mode of development different from that of his predecessor, and hit the ground running from the first day in office.
On the other hand, Nkrumah was in power for sixteen years and turned himself into a president for life when he realized that his popularity had waned. In the sixties and after he had squandered the huge reserve bequeathed to him by the Whiteman, the country started to sink and Ghanaians visibly yearned for a change. But since Nkrumah closed all the doors and channels that could have been used by Ghanaians to exercise their political will of changing him democratically through the ballot box, they had no choice other than to force him out of office through a military coup. Therefore, the coup that removed Kwame Nkrumah from office was the only legitimate coup in the history of Ghana.

The so-called professor that tried to embellish Nkrumah's economic record needs to go to School again. Those types of socialist arguments could deceive Ghanaians in the 50s and 60s, but they cannot do so now. Nkrumah was the first leader to introduce unsustainable debt into this country by borrowing massively and unnecessarily to finance his whims and caprices. It was a misfortune that we had such a person as president immediately after the independence. He didn't lay a realistic economic foundation for sustainable development of this country at all, considering the amount of money that was at his disposal in those days.
Ghana had about one billion dollars in reserve when Nkrumah took over from the colonial master. Could you imagine the value of 1bn dollars in those days? Even the lesser figure put forward by Nkrumahists would still be $20bn in today's Dollar value. Additionally, cocoa prices at the world market rocketed and increased four-fold after 2years of his rule not to mention the revenues of all the other resources in Ghana. But, contrary to any sound economic planning, he did not reserve any fraction of the windfall for a rainy day as the Whiteman had been doing. So the question is what did Nkrumah do with the revenue he got from the astronomical cocoa prices and the huge reserve he inherited that took many years to build for our financial stability and sustainable development?
The man just went on a spending spree both in Ghana and around the world, throwing his weight about and talking big. So when cocoa prices collapsed close to the end of his rule, he was quick to point an accusing finger at the West, blaming them for manipulating cocoa prices to sabotage the economy of Ghana and overthrow his government. Finally, after misusing all the money on dubious and prestigious projects, failed communist agricultural projects and whimsical mad rush industrialization projects that did not withstand the test of time, he also burdened the young nation with another billion dollars' debt before he was forced out of the country.
The truth is that, Nkrumah's ideas were not suitable for growing the economy since the communist system lacks mechanisms and incentives that release energies of the people to create wealth. He, therefore, met a rich and confident country with huge potentials and left it nearly bankrupt in some few years as a result of gross communist mismanagement and dictatorship.

Do you know why there is strong partisanship in Ghana? It started long ago when Kwame Nkrumah divided the nation into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice a one party state system and indulge in leftist anti-West propaganda, using the country's meager resources to challenge centuries' old, well-established Western countries. The patriots even accepted that he should act as the savior of Black men around the world, while tyrannizing his own Black people at home simply because they had alternative views on how to develop their country.
Those who wanted him to concentrate more on our basic needs and tone down his rhetoric against the powerful were called traitors, reactionaries, and agents of imperialism that should be liquidated or imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed Nkrumah and paid for his ticket from the UK to come and work as a general secretary of the group, saving him from the humiliation and tyranny of being unemployed in London. The Independence Struggle Vanguards were senior civil servants in the Gold Coast, and as the struggle was gaining momentum and scope of the activities widening, they needed someone to work full-time for the group free from official work constrains to further spread message of the struggle.
Under their sponsorship and protection, Nkrumah used the platform to become a public face of the group and his popularity soared. Being the secretary general and voice of the group, he was considered by many as the leader because; a lot of our people in those days could not differentiate between the spokesperson and the leaders. So, Nkrumah used the platform to drum up support for himself underground scheming to undermine the group because, he was a communist and they were democratic liberal conservatives. Subsequently, when he heard from the Governor General's female secretary, who was later sacked, that the British were getting ready to grant us independence as they had promised, he increasingly used needless militant tactics to provoke the Whiteman in order to gain prominence when the 'wind of change' was already blowing, and to embarrass his employers in order to outfox them. He then used the opportunity to break away from the group, forming his own party and slapping them from the back to take power.
This explains the strong partisanship in Ghana and why Nkrumah didn't want the Liberation Vanguards to ever come to power in his life time. Maybe he was afraid of his own ghost, or because he was a communist and communist don't share power. Despite all these facts, his supporters still want us to believe that he initiated, spearheaded and single handedly fought for our independence, and had the right to treat the country as if it were a kingdom or his private property.

When osagyefo found out that the UGCC did not want to go by the ideology and plans he had for Ghana and Africa, he did not insist on abiding by their wishes neither did he compromise his ideas and beliefs but rather, he went his separate ways and he got independence for Ghana and Africa.
Nkrumah followed his beliefs without any big financial backing but rather by the support of the people who believed in his ideas and their contributions. We the African Young Pioneers and believers of Nkrumaism only want to part with the old ways and propagate the ideology which is Nkrumaism and the only way we can achieve that is through planning and having a Party that is adhering to nothing but the true ideology: Nkrumaism. We will like Ghanaians to behold the African personality and to rule our own destiny, consume what is African and at the same time what is of quality.
I am sorry to say, the name CPP is doing more harm than good and is not sinking in. Aging as we are getting, we will still wait until our plea is considered. If Samiah still considers this PNC which is always in consultation with NPP as true Nkrumaists, it is up to her and her allies who believe in that.

(Y) Economists Prescribe Antidote To Cedi’s Woes 8-)
Some economists are impressing upon government, the need to do more in addressing the fundamental weaknesses in the economy – such as increasing production in agriculture and industry among others.
This according to them is the only way the perennial challenges with the cedi can be effectively addressed.
The cedi recently recorded an impressive appreciation following the Bank of Ghana’s dollar injection into the market from time to time. It has however started declining in value in the last few days.
During a panel discussion on the economy organized by research organization Good Governance Africa – West Africa Centre, participating economists generally maintained the way out is for government to focus on the economic fundamentals.
Economist and Head of Finance at the University of Ghana Business School, Dr. Godfred Bokpin told JOY BUSINESS what is happening to the cedi is simply a reflection of the fundamentals of the economy.
“It is not the case that the Cedi is misbehaving on its own. The Cedi is as strong as the foundation which is the economy and with the economy we are talking about agriculture, industry and service. So when you have these sub-sectors doing well, the Cedi will be able to have the necessary support in order to maintain its strength against the major trading currencies because when the Cedi interacts with the other major trading currencies what is backing the currency becomes very important,” he pointed out.
For him, instead of the Bank of Ghana being asked to stabilize the Cedi, the focus should be on the fundamentals of the economy. He indicated that when the fundamentals of the economy are put right, the Cedi will necessarily provide good feedback.
Dr. Bokpin stated that he does not personally subscribe to the assertion that the Central Bank is entirely to blame for the Cedis’ depreciation.
“No, it has to be an integrated approach where we involve all the sectors that are related to the economy like the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Finance, etc to address the issues with the currency.”
The Managing Director of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research at the University of Ghana, Prof. Felix Ankomah Asante who also told JOY BUSINESS that there are serious issues with the Ghana Cedis vis-à-vis the major trading currencies saying, which he said is a major concern, especially for businesses.
Confidence in the currency for him, is key because it is the catalyst for confidence in the business sector.
“If you in a country and within a week your currency moves from 4.2 to a US Dollar to 2.9 then you should be asking some serious questions as to what could be driving that kind of appreciation. Ask yourself what this currency appreciation is backed by. We are not producing anything,” he exclaimed.
Prof. Ankomah Asante expressed worry saying, the real sectors of the economy – agriculture, industry and services are not supporting the currency so hence the attempt to inject more dollars into the economy to control the depreciating Cedi.
He however asked “how long can you do this? Yes we have been told there are expected inflows of Dollars and so on but what are the dollars being generated in the country to hold the currency?”
He indicated that the discussions about how the Cedi could be stabilized should be elevated from what the expected monies from the cocoa syndicated loans, IMF monies and so on could do for the currency since that would not sustain the currency.
He is advocating what he calls ‘locally-generated dollars’ to back the currency. “The link between agriculture and industry is very crucial but in Ghana, that link is not seen. Every year we see a lot of excess production in food commodities while at the same time we see industry unable to mop up those excesses.”
Prof. Ankomah Asante wants Ghana to institute a system such that industry and the manufacturing sectors can mop up the excesses from agriculture.

These so-called economists sat comfortably on the sidelines and only show their prowess when all is done and implemented and then they come rushing on board to acclaim the idea as their own through the media. Where were they when their so-called ideas were needed the most at the backwaters of Senchi not so long ago, huh?

I think Samia Nkrumah is a decent and hard working politician. Sadly for her, she has as many chances of becoming our next President as I have - and I am not running. Instead of wasting resources on a party that no longer attracts enough support in Ghana to exist, why not use her ideas and work to improve Ghana outside the political system. On the economy, the IMF is worse than the disease we are trying to cure. But the idea that we will solve our problems with protectionist policies sadly isn't workable either. The world has changed and no country can lock itself in.

The front-page headlines were bold and screaming : President inaugurates a tomato factory.
What the good people of Ghana did not know or weren’t told was that that tomato factory doesn’t use or will never use one single fruit of Ghanaian-grown tomato in its processing facility. That factory will never use a tomato grown in Akumadan or anywhere in Ghana. That factory imports tomato puree from India using dollars and then add salt and pepper to it and put them in cans. So much said for agro-processing, the better. And this sham of a factory is what our President went to inaugurate the other day with glee and excitement amid camera blitz. Oh what a President. God Bless Our Homeland Ghana.
