Could you still remember that the P/NDC party with the endorsement of former EC boss used fake indelible ink for elections in 1992 and 1996, which was part of the rigging mechanism for stealing verdicts until proper indelible ink was secured for the country in 2000 by Craig Murray? We are yet to see what the new EC would do to further deepen democracy in our country to ensure free and fair elections because; actions speak louder than words.
Contrary to what the discredited former EC Chairman said, there are many examples of how elections are rigged far away from polling stations, and the corrupted voters' register could be used to rig elections, especially, when "no verification no vote" has already been eliminated by the EC. We believe that NDC is again preparing to rig the elections through the old bloated voters' register, and Asiedu Nketia is fighting to keep the loophole intact, despite the fact that the Supreme Court recommended a new voters' register and all the other parties support it except, of course, the NDC party. NDC is resisting any attempt to compile a new voter's register or weed out the illegal names because they are con-men with con plans.

Secession from the union is long overdue. Ghana initiated the Alliance Compliance Order set out in Ghana by the Busia/Danquah regime. Nigeria retaliated in 1983. The same path is now retraced. DENU sits on a proven oil reserve and I believe with that if harnessed can sustain the 'New Country'. The Akosombo Dam should then be returned to Volta Region because there is a reason for describing the area Eastern Region. The history is there for all to access.

Apart from (small scale) mining, all economic activities that take place in any part in Ghana, can be found in the Volt Region. Cocoa, coffee farms are in the region. Yam is cultivated in many parts of the region. Fishing is an important economic activity in the Volta Region. From the Coastal towns of Keta, Anloga, Aflao, Denu, through to the major towns along the River Volta-Sogakofe, Tefle, Sokpoe, Kpandu, Nkwanta, Kete-Krachi. Then talk about the blue collar and white collar jobs all ove the place. Peter Amewu, you can do better. Now if your argument is to hold true that there is no economic activity in the Volta Region to support the increase in the population, then, what about the increase in population in the Brong Ahafo Region that was cited by the NPP. What explanation will you give. Mr Chairman, give us a break!

In Nigeria, the Northerners are accused of inflating their population to gain electoral advantage as well as taking a bigger share of the country's kitty. Whether that is true or not has not been proven by the mandated body. It only resurfaces at election time. However the winning party of the 2015 elections is a merger of both Northerners and Southerners and so no more talk of Northern population inflation. In Cote D'Ivoire, former President Laurent Gbagbo came up with an agenda to disenfranchise the North by calling them Burkinabes and tried to implement his purist "Ivoirite" concept which led to a breakup of the Army of Cote D'ivoire and the subsequent civil war in that country. Where is Gbagbo now? He is before the ICC facing war crimes charges and the person he called an alien is the President of the country. Why can Nana Addo not learn from History? His predecessors, the Progress Party of Dr Busia chased away nationals from neighboring countries in 1969, and the consequences of this barbaric and inhuman treatment was visited on Ghana for a long time leading to a retaliation by Nigeria in 1983. The revisionist NPP must be told in plain language that no one can be an alien on his own land. You cannot call someone an alien when you are standing on stolen land. What have the people of Volta Region done to NPP and they hate them so much? Enough of this selective bastardization by Nana Addo and Bawumia. It is on record that the bodies were boated, meaning that they were injected with drugs to prevent them from decomposing. The cat is now out of the bag that NPP bought dead bodies which were about to be buried in Togo and transported them into Ghana to show to the whole world that Ghanaian women were murdered for ritual purposes by Rawlings. This dead soul exhibition has exposed NPP as a party which is as evil as the Nazi party.

The people of TV Togoland campained against. But there was a condition which has not been fulfilled to date. I think the time is now for Volta Region to revisit the table to secede from the union. Secession from the union is long overdue. Ghana initiated the Alliance Compliance Order set out in Ghana by the Busia/Danquah regime. Nigeria retaliated in 1983. The same path is now retraced. DENU sits on a proven oil reserve and I believe with that if harnessed can sustain the 'New Country'. The Akosombo Dam should then be returned to Volta Region because there is a reason for describing the area Eastern Region. The history is there for all to access.
