The sad thing was that many of the soldiers were under the influence of drugs and alcohol, Today we are witnessing corruption at levels never seen before in the history of the country. NDC did not win the 2012 election without Rawlings rather it won without the active involvement of the Rawlingses in the campaign,that is what people like you don't know,politics is not only on the campaign trail,a lot of people still vote or support NDC because of Rawlings no matter who is on the ballot.
