Were you not the same people who created that tribal bigotry between the akans and the minority tribes? Why were you calling yourselves nyebros? Now Rawlings is living to reap what he sowed and the chicken have come home to roost. The evil that men do lives after them, now the Gas are serious to realise they have been conned and are resisting against non-indigenes trespassing. If this was not supposed to be the introduction or re-introduction of tribal supremacy and bigotry in the country then what else is? In1983, during the early days of PNDC led by "Nyebro" Rawlings which has since metamorphosed into NDC, I was on a Central Accra bound Madina commuter bus when the Ewe driver blurted out after some disagreement on his pricing policy "When your people charge you don't complain but when our people charge then you're complaining". When he said"your people" he meant Akans and"our people" meant Ewes. Which tribe in Ghana has the herd mentality when it comes to voting,etc? You cannot blame them too much than need to because they belong to a minority tribe and are just doing what minorities everywhere do. But, when they rather accuse others of tribalising politics in Ghana then it is no longer a funny silly joke. It beggars belief.

Even if she supported her mother in the past there is nothing wrong with that,our backwardness is reaching the highest level,supporting somebody in the past is just part of the democracy we claim we are practising,it should not disqualify anybody from contesting election in the country,we are free to support anybody we want at any given time.

It's still being practiced today at customs, ceps, airport, education, ministries, etc.. They shouldn't be surprised when Ga's are now doing to them what they usually do to other tribes! Ewes should get rid of that greed of promoting only their tribe instead of the whole of Ghana and we would have a peaceful country devoid of tribalism. This kind of favouritism amongst ewes and hatred for other tribes can eventually lead to conflict between them and the rest of Ghana if caution is not taken.

Look around our labour front they have removed all Akan tribes people from top positions and replaced them with other tribes yet they wanted to turn around and accuse the NPP.The topic on tribalism need to be discussed openly on all the media platforms to educate Ghanaians of the dangers it posses to our national development and peaceful harmony among our people. Rawlings and his AFRC/P-NDC henchmen attempted to eliminate as many Akans as they possibly could esp those they saw as threats or opponents but God showed his powerful face and protection for his blessed people. People should say NO to tribalism; it is dangerous to national development it can also bring about war.
