We had a new voters register just 4yrs ago at de request of this same NPP. What at all is their motive for demanding a new voters register so aggressively? if u say there are people in there who are not supposed to be there, what prevents u from submitting the identities of these supposed aliens, since u have actually found them out, investigate them, and have them deleted from the register? This really beats my imagination.

Before a new voters' register is compiled the root causes for the perennial bloating should be identified otherwise the results will be the same. As for the NPP they are have not moved on from the 2012 defeat and are always looking for excuses to justify their court case. For 2 million people to invade Ghana and vote even the blind man/woman will notice it. The petrol stations will jubilate. The hotels will be overflowing with guests. Assuming buses take 100 people that is 20,000 buses crossing the boarders. Customs and boarder patrols will be overworking. Chop bars will celebrate and call for more frequent elections.
The NPP argument is not plausible. It is more than throwing sand into our eyes. Sadly, it is led by Bawumia, who should know better.

In Africa, political candidates rise on political ignorance. Pastoral education and political knowledge are not the same thing simply because voters don't pay close attention and due respect to details of candidate's policies and programs; and that is the reason why the probability of votes to influence the outcome of elections is very tiny. Churches know very little about politics, and exploit the ignorance of voters as a mis-standard political tool in the name of religion.

Pres Kufour won when he united the party and endeared himself to floating voters. The time and money factors are also key. Lets rather clean it and stop creating fear and distrust to capitalise on later

In an attempt to compile a completely new register, Ghana will end up with a worse register than the one before.

A particular political party has a secret plan to bloat the new register to ensure victory in 2016 at all costs. The only way it can achieve that is to force the EC to compile a fresh register. Parties, organizations and individuals coming out in support of the call are doing so because of the secret deal they have to benefit from the opposition party's victory.

The EC should investigate the alleged names in the current register and if any of them is found to the true, that name should be removed as simple as that. With about 12 million names on the register, the alleged number of so-called foreign names, double registrations and names of minors are not sufficient to warrant the cancellation of the entire register. Those names can easily be investigated. Who knows, with NPP's track record from the Supreme Court fiasco when we were initially made to believe that over one million votes were stolen from Nana Addo and added to that of Mahama, maybe even less than 10 per cent of the alleged illegal names would need removal.

Let me put it this way to you, Odiifo Acquah, God could be a witness at each polling station and booth in Ghana on election night and the NPP will cry foul if they should lose and the NDC cryl foul should they lose in 2016. Honesty left Ghana in 1966 just as mankind got to inherit sin via Adam and Eve. Remember once we thought we got our presumed freedoms to act as stupid as the next person there were no restraints left on how idiotic people can act under those new found freedoms. We have had our freedoms since 1966 and yet we have stood still on bribery and corruption which have restrained growth and development; multi-party ballot boxes have not done the trick for us has it? If anything the multi-party system has given rise to tribal animus and zealotry not seen before.

The good thing one may ask is how many times could they all be asking for change of voters register. They had changed it before, as all are aware.

Why not patiently wait so that a new good strategy can be used to produce a voters register that may not call for this village demands of voters register that draw all low minded people into the scenario.

They forget it cost much money but they will later shamefully find someone as an escape goat, and that will be the Govt of the day.

They all call for voters register with all happiness and boldness but never express similar calls for change of character in things pertaining to God the creator and the wisest of all things including the good and perfect strategy that can help come with the needed voters register.

They find it hard to talk about change of their evil ways of corruption, anger, abuse in politics, tribalism, political hatred and divisive spirit in the churches and in the political parties towards one another.

Shame unto you all with the display of your low mentality of only mentioning change of voters register.
