For me his comment on the ICC issue is porous. He lives in the USA and knows that it is the FBI that compiles the lists of human rights violations in all countries. Has he ever seen the that of the US? Does he mean that there are no human rights violations in the US? Which country can enter another country and arrest its sitting president? Which country can order the removal of heads of state in coups including Ghana? Who has invaded other countries and removed their heads and gone free?
How many non-African and non-East European are at the ICC? Why should South Africa allow Sudan’s head of state to be arrested in South Africa?
Well, Arthur K himself took a contract from K4 without due process and argued that he was the best qualified for it. As NUGS president he never discussed things before he gave orders.

Why is it a case that the presidents of Turkey who have waged several wars and still wage wars against Kurds in Turkey, Iraq and Syria do not have the word of even a crime mentioned against them. In 2002 the then leaders of the west caused the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to make a film in New York which depicted the supporters of Hugo Chavez killing members of the opposition. That bait was swallowed hook, line and sinker by the military in Venezuela which staged a coup against Chavez leading to the lost of life and property. Why are members of NATO not send to the Huge for subverting the right of people to self determination and universal adult suffrage which they have subverted around the world and the current on is Syria where they are leaving no stone unturn to overthrow with force of arms the presidency of Al Bashar who was elected by a margin of of 86% to 14% by the people of Syria which has taken the lives of then of hundred of people.

While the NPP could make hay of the Prez's perceived lack-luster impression in this interview, it must be careful to use the interview as a self-indictment of the President's. This is because the Prez might come up with some details to refute any such allusion later.

Besides, I would suggest a 56% disapproval on the Economy now does not translate into a convincing advantage for the NPP. I would have thought a much higher percentage disapproval prevails. If that 56% figure holds true, the NPP still has a much more difficult job to do, because the Ghanaian Electorate does not dwell only on the Economy to vote one way or another. What the figure suggests to me is that the Election would be very close. And if that figure improves for Mahama before the Elections, the NPP would be deeper in the pit.

There are other factors about NPP that currently work against the NPP's Flagbearer in person. And if the Elections were held today, those factors might well cancel out any mediocre economic outlook Mahama's Government incurs.

Complacency may well be NPP's Achilles heel. Many of the Party's top leaders would not heed to Arthur Kennedy's advice, just because he is the one giving it. They have already indicated they do not need his advice. Neither do they want to hear any from Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe and others. They think they can still win the Elections for Akufo-Addo without the likes of Arthur Kennedy, Mpiani, Alan's supporters, and many others who often criticize Nana's poor leadership style. That is what would do the NPP in. Not Mahama's poor economic performance.

It's the duty of the media to bring information on current issues to the doorstep of the misinformed and under informed Ghanaian so that they have the opportunity to make better choices when the time comes to choose who they want as their leaders. As for the opposition this is an almost lost opportunity to make the case against Mahama and his ruling administration and explain to the people what they promise to do differently to make their lives better than what they are presently suffering under the Mahama misrule.
