Please bear in mind that I do not subscribe to any political party in Ghana. In my book, MOST political aspirants in Ghana are in it for a very simple reason, to milk the coffers of Ghana.
I am 65 years old and have lived during Kwame Nkrumah, NLC, Busia and all other military coups till today.
On record, I mean on record. NDC political party government, from Rawlings, Atta Mills through today has proven to be waste of Ghana's resources than any government in Ghana history.
NDC government's are far corrupt than NPP. I am never saying NPP is not corrupt. They all milk Ghana dry. But NDC over "chop." Just look around and be honest. Is that what you want for Ghana? A country you claim to love? My honest answer is that, I do not. What's yours? Be honest based on truth.

Corruption in Ghana now is not only in the government but in the whole facet of every institution of the nation. The Police,Judges,Lawyers,Civil servants,Priests and almost every rank and file of ghanaians.
Am a few years younger than you and the Ghana we saw before the first coup and the subsequent Republics has,nt improve anything for the better.I have studied the eight year reign of the NPP and found out that they did a good job with the economy because coming out of the Rawlings devastated regime,there was nothing better than for some change in leadership in Ghana and the international community tired of the terror of Rawlings gave Kuffour all the help it needed which in turn sparked the growth in our economy. Do not forget, a growth in economy always cause the demand of services and infustructure which we were limited cos the previous governments did not prioritize these important sector,be it water,energy,sanitation,roads and institutions that will carry on this mandate government. Ghanaians saw in the subsequent election that the continuation of the NPP,s in power was not the best interest for the nation that brought again the NDC.
There was corruption at a higher level at the time of the kuffour era and rarely did anyone paid a price.
Back to the problem of Dumsor,let's find the right solution in a long term basis than a short one that will come in a few months.Planning is the key and when you are in opposition you don,t only criticize,you help in finding solutions to problems and voters are aware of that and will give you a chance when they don,t like the direction being lead into. The Dumsor is much bigger than Mahama so let's be careful how we resolve this crisis than to play politics with it.
While you can blame the government for Sada,Woyome and high level of corruption,they have put in place serious anti corruption policies that will be worth implementing. In all Ghana is for us and we should come together and find a lasting solutions the problems we facing now. It's not a group of party loyalist that we need,it's all of us. Long live our Republic

This institution called CHIEFTAINCY needs to be abolished. It has served its time and therefore of no use in contemporary times. It epitomises corruption everywhere in Ghana. They are in fact, absolutely useless to national development. What can they do that the courts and district/municipal councils can't do? Actually, those in authority within the courts and the councils are also corrupt but they can be conveniently dealt with by any serious government easily. The latter does not endorse the supremacy of one clan/family over the others within our traditional borders. CHIEFTAINCY as it is, is an affront to democratic dispensation.
