Vote NDC out; NPP candidate urges Ghanaian youth

Mr James Owusu Banes, Agona East Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged the people, especially the youth to vote massively against the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the 2016 elections.

Mr Banes made this known when he addressed journalists to climax the Annual Akwambo Festival of the chiefs and people of Agona Kwanyako.

According to him NPP is the only political party that could rescue the nation from mass unemployment and the economic mess.

He said the Flag bearer of NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has vision for the youth that could turn their miserable lives to fruition.

Mr Barns stated that the youth have suffered under NDC seven years ruling due to bad policies and programmes.

There is the need to vote against the President John Mahama in 2016 elections, he stated.

The candidate said there is hope for a better future as far as NPP policies and programmes under quality leadership of Nana Addo and Dr Mamudu Bawumia, Vice Presidential Candidate are concern.

Mr Banes called for healthy competition between the NDC aspiring parliamentary candidates in Agona East.

He expressed concern about the intimidations and personal attacks on members of the NDC in the Agona East and exhorted them to conduct their campaigns devoid of insults and hatred.

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate condemned the last week’s arrest of Mr Abeiku Ansah, Assemblyman for Agona Asafo and Agona East Youth Organiser of NPP by the Agona Swedru Police Divisional Command Patrol Team.

Mr Banes said Mr Ansah was arrested for allegedly inciting the people of Agona Asafo to insult Mrs Queenster Pokua Sawyer, Deputy Central Regional Minister and MP for the Area.

Mr Banes urged the supporters and floating voters to cast their ballots against the NDC in the ext presidential and parliamentary elections.
