I'm sure Mahama did not ask anyone to put his picture on the bus. That is the common behaviour of third world people. Look at the Ashantis for example:After choosing one of their own to lead them and speak for all of them, some macho men surrounded him and made him fearsome, he turned around and ask them to carry him on their shoulders, he also told them the land and its gold is for him and the people around the king. This behaviour has become the culture of Africans, Mahama feels powerful, above the law and he is very corrupt.

Where Mahama's Gov't built roads, built schools, provided electricity and water, they did so only because they with their cronies could 'loot and share'. Well, we abandoned the self help spirit that was promoted during the revolution, we now think since the government will always come to us for votes, we don't need to help ourselves,the citizens can give the smallest they can afford to the village as some of us are doing for our villages.

Personally, I think he is playing a wise game by making this statement as it will draw attention from the NDC Government and the NPP, whom will be eager to ensure that his area votes for them. If you recall recently another Chief in the B.A. Region caused controversy by stating that he supports the NDC and just last week after threatening to ban the NPP Conference he had a private meeting with Nana Addo. Chiefs in B.A. are wisely looking out for the interests of their people. In other words performing their traditional role.

He thinks other chiefs are sitting down for the government to chase them with development projects. The national cake is being shared everyday, and just like some people in the NPP are doing, he was waiting for Nana Akufo Addo to come and give him projects. He should continue to wait for hundred years. Akufo Addo will never come to power, which means no development project for Kamanpa. He is now trying to blame the government for his failure. A chief indeed.
