And now contestants who lose elections within the CPP are quiting and forming their own new parties.
I think that's a pile of horse-biscuits.
Caracters like Nduom,Ayariga(of PNC)and now Sakara? are all sore losers .

Dr. Abu Sakara? did poorly at the last election and ther's no reason to blieve he'll do any better in 2016.

I SAY LET'S GIVE SAMIA A CHANCE IN 2016.
If she fails us, we turf her in 2020.

Personally,I do not agree with party aspirants who lose and run off quickly to form their own.That,to me is QUESTIONABLE LOYALTY TO THE PARTY.

Fortunately for Hon Samia Nkrumah, she is no longer the Party Chairperson. She is now an ordinary member who is contesting like Dr. Sakara was contesting. The attacks that she is "destroying" the party even after handing over is rather childish!

The real reason is that the kitchen is probably too hot for Abu Sakara! He has every right to get out of the kitchen, but he has no business to complain that the heat is coming from the cooks!

You cannot call people like Sakara "loyal members"! If he wants to insist on his pro-GMO nonsense, the majority of the CPP want to have nothing to do with it!

This is one of the things the EC needs to review to save the country money. Why would you continue putting presidential candidates such as Samia, Sakara, Akua Donkor, Ndoum, Konadu on the ballot? Parties with less than 3% support should not be allowed on ballot, for parliamentary they should stand as independents instead of being associated with a party. The small parties should be disqualified and be forced to merge.

As far as Samia, will simply say she is a waste of time.

To give a balanced view let us look at some of his achievements. Akasombo Dam, Tema Motorway, Tema Ports, Tema, former Ghana Airways, SNITT, establishing the 10 Regions of Ghana and all of the State Institutions that exist in Ghana today.
Now to answer some of your specific criticisms. Did the CPP Government execute 3 former Heads of State, Senior Military Officers & murder 3 Judges? Talking about dictatorship did democracy exist in Ghana during the years of military rule particularly under the PNDC? Inhuman treatment of political opponents occurred during all of the Military Governments particularly under the PNDC. It is unfortunate that J.B. Danquah died in prison but he was later exposed as being a traitor.
Please provide me using specific examples of another Government of Ghana that achieved more than the CPP.

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

In fact, she doesn't have to lead the CPP to bring back the visions and image of his father to inspire the members of the Party. The Party's type of leaders, prevailing management style and manifesto are what would realistically turn its fortunes around not the physical presence of anything of semblance to the late founder of the CPP and our first President. People would not join the CPP just because it is led by a child or relative of Nkrumah. That child or relative must demonstrate her own skills and prove her or his mettle as deserving of the Electorate's votes.

Additionally, the CPP cannot and should not intransigently refuse to transform itself. No one in our modern Society would embrace Socialism or Communism as was practiced in the days of Nkrumah anywhere in the World.

Even the Russians and Chinese and Vietnamese have acquiesced to embrace more freedoms and individual rights, reaching as far as to welcome significant entrenchment of Capitalism.

Therefore, any attempt to blindly tow the path to the dead-end would surely kill off the CPP for good.

Samia must therefore heed the advice of Mr. Osei Kofi to open up the Party for more diverse views to attract more of the electorate, else, she should kiss her dreams of having her father's visions re-established good bye.

She should learn from how Akufo-Addo's intolerance and paranoia is destroying the NPP.
