  1. KUFOUR ADMITS TO CORRUPTION IN HIS GOVERNMENT AND SAYS HE WONT EXPOSE IT Unlike President Mahama who has taken action on allegations of corruption ,the NPP government under Kufour refused to either expose or punish corruption. At a 2003 NPP delegates conference held in Cape Coast, President Kufour in his address made excuses for corruption in his government. Among other justifications he said corruption "was as old as Adam" and that on a daily basis he and his officials are tempted with all manner of things including the proverbial apple of the Garden of Eden. He admitted that people come with all manner of inducements but he only tells them to go and come next time. He also stated that he was not going to expose corruption in his government lest his government collapses and what he did when instances of corruption came to his notice was to call the offending Minister or appointee and caution him not to repeat the corrupt act.
  
  2. ESSEKU GATE In 2005, then National Chairman of the NPP, Mr Haruna Esseku was caught on tape telling NPP supporters that President Kufour was the chief recipient of kickbacks from contractors at the castle. He lamented that unlike in the past when he could go to the castle and have his car boot stashed with kickback funds, President Kufour was at the time withholding those funds and this affected his ability to provide resources for the running of the NPP. For this revelation Mr Esseku was held hostage and prevented from attending the NPP delegates conference at Legon that year.
  
  3. HOTEL WAAWAA In the first term of President Kufour and his NPP government, Gizzelle Yadzi revealed that she had been asked by Kufour to negotiate the purchase of an US $ 8 million Hotel for him. Of course later we were told that it was Chief Kufour and not President Kufour who bought the hotel. Chief Kufour had no business track record prior to his father becoming President and had also not demonstrated any capacity to raise US $ 8 million dollars to buy such a hotel.
  
  4. LOOTING OF STATE LANDS The looting and sharing of state lands is still fresh on our minds. A recount of the sale of government bungalows and public lands to Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, President Kufour, Kwodwo Mpiani and other NPP Ministers and cronies points to evidence of corruption. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey bought his official bungalow which sat on over an Acre of prime Land at Ridge for a paltry GHC 390, 000 when the property is valued at USD 2,000,000. Documents available from the lands commission show clearly that from President Kufour, his Ministers, party functionaries and cronies all bought state lands at ridiculously low prices. The former international students hostel land was carved out and shared among more NPP Ministers, party functionaries, and cronies.
  
  5. DIVERSION OF 6O BILLION CEDIS OF TAX PAYERS MONEY TO FUND NPP PROPAGANDA MACHINE A 2009 audit report revealed that up to 60 billion cedis of the tax payer's money taken from the TOR debt recovery levy, the HIPC etc. was used fund a so called communication strategy which was only a euphemism for a conduit used to siphon state funds into the NPP campaign. The auditors could not find details of this strategy or how it was executed except dubious payments to shady groups such as BLOW, PRIM, and FIRST RESPONDERS. Most of the people who make the loudest noise about corruption these days (Anthony Karbo, John Boadu and Samuel Abu Jinapor) are on a list submitted to National Security under the NPP for these payments to be made. This looting of the TOR coffers contributed in no small measure towards the difficulties it currently faces.
  
  6. E.O GROUP SHARES IN JUBILEE FIELD While 25 million Ghanaians had to make do with only 13.6% stake in the Jubilee field. Two NPP top shots, George Owusu and Ambassador Edusei were given 3% shares which amounts to a colossal US$300 million. It is instructive to note that in one of the Wikileaks cables President Kufour was quoted as having told a US senator that his interests in Ghana's oil are being coordinated by Mr Kwabena Darko of Darko Farms. When investigations were carried out into the EO group's affairs by Ghanaian authorities, it emerged that their company address was the same as the address of Darko Farms! The explanations given for how EO group came to own such a significant stake in the Jubilee field do not wash. We are told that they found Kosmos and brought them in to discover oil for Ghana. It is strange that GNPC which was formed in 1983 and which has all the expertise one can think of in the oil industry could not find a partner to discover oil but it took a two-man company with no experience or track record in the oil industry to find a partner for us. Even stranger is the fact that the EO group was allowed to be part of the joint operating agreement signed among the partners in the jubilee field when they did not meet the basic requirements to be part of such a venture. First they have no track record of having being part of such a venture in the past neither did they possess the financial capacity to make good their part of the cash calls which are necessary for the operation of the jubilee field. As it turned out they were carried by Kosmos and seeing as Kosmos is no father Christmas, the conclusion that can be drawn is that the EO group shares was made a conditionality for giving Kosmos the exploration license. We recall that Franklyn Cudjoe and his so-called think tank were loud in their defence of this unconscionable action when public outcry greeted the exposure of this deal.
  
  7. DAN BOTWE QUESTIONS SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR LAVISH NPP FLAGBEARERSHIP CONTEST In 2007 Mr. Dan Botwe, former General secretary of the NPP and Former Information Minister expressed worry about the ostentatious nature of the campaigns that were being waged by seventeen aspirants who contested for the 2007 flag bearer slot of the NPP. In an interview with Citi FM in 2007, he lamented how the NPP in opposition could not afford to purchase even flags and T shirts and yet in power it was possible for 17 people to spend so much money on a flag bearer race. Some aspirants could even afford to charter aircrafts for campaign tours and hire aircrafts to fly their banners in the air. Hackman Owusu Agyeman himself an aspirant in that contest also bitterly complained about the extravagance that was displayed in that campaign. Where did the NPP get all that money from if not through corrupt kickback collection?
  
  8. GHANA @ 50 After spending a whopping US$ 75 million dollars on Ghana's 50th birthday celebration, it emerged that Dr Wireko Brobey, Chief executive of the Ghana @50 secretariat made cash payments to supposed contractors and service providers in polythene bags without any supporting documentation.
  
  9. AMOATENG HEROIN SCANDAL NPP MP for Nkoranza North was arrested in the United States of America for trafficking large quantities of heroin and is currently languishing in in jail in the US. Amoateng was a key NPP financier and received his party's full support in the wake of his arrest.
  
  10. SEKYI HUGHES LOOTS HIS BUNGALOW Former speaker of Parliament under the NPP Ebenezer Begyina Sekyi Hughes when leaving his official bungalow looted it empty. He carried along all the curtains, furniture and fixtures in the house. Some media reports had it that Mr Sekyi Hughes even took away flower pots.

  Nkrumah sowed the seeds of violence and dictatorship in our politics and used that to eliminate his political opponents, create one party state and made himself president for life because he was a communist. Nkrumah was already a "comrade" and communist disciple before he arrived in the Gold Coast. And as we all know, communists do not have a place for opposition in their system. Nkrumah therefore used the multiparty system as a stepping stone to ascend to power cunningly, and then turned around to demolish it step by step to prevent others from getting to power democratically until he was forced out of the country.
  
  Also, when Rawlings usurped power from Dr. Liman in the 80s and unleashed his Cuban-Style Communist Dictatorship on Ghanaians; there were always attempted coups and rumours of coups until he was forced to reinstate the multiparty system with some semblance of democracy in the country. In a multiparty democracy and rule of law, the opposition and all stakeholders wait patiently for their turn to take power democratically, if it is believed and confirmed that the incumbent is not using his position cunningly and unjustifiably to prevent others from coming to power democratically.
  
  The above shows clearly that democracy and the rule of law are the only guarantors of peace and preventers of political violence and not PDA.

I have also noticed how you have in recent times, suddenly become mute on the subject of the detention without trial and the dictatorial violation of the human and sovereign rights of many countries and peoples around the world by those who you refer to as your ultimate multi-party democratic mentors.
  
  It is difficult to discuss the political intricacies of ideology with illiterate retards like you but, suffice it to say, it was the kindness and cooperation of one-party communist states who helped Africa liberate itself from over 500 years of the most tyrannical oppression - the horrors of which have never ever been experienced by humanity elsewhere or at any other period of time, of the colonial dictatorship of Africa by your major multi-party democracies. Its about time you put some sense in your head and desist from this laughable old-School anti-communist McCarthyism posture.
  
  Then again, in the most trying period immediately after our independence, your 'communist' Kwame Nkrumah - as you describe him, in less than 10 years accomplished all that this country as well as the entire African continent has ever achieved and continues to survive on.
  
  In the sorrowful 50 years after local terrorists of your kind illegally overthrew Nkrumahs govt, not only has this country tragically gone bonkers without any hope of recovery, but, the local purveyors of your so-called multi-party democracy have continued to sell off at give-away prices, the family jewels (the economic infra-structure) that your 'communist' Kwame Nkrumah single-handedly created for this country, to the international thugs of multi-party democracy.
  
  As for Rawlings and his (P)NDC cabal, anybody who describes him as a communist, clearly exposes his own illiterate ignorance. Rawlings, like you, has never hidden his 'emotional' dislike for communism as well as Kwame Nkrumah. Therefore the insults you are throwing at Rawlings will only bounce back at you and you deserve it. The fact that a few opportunists who had assumed to be leftist associated with Rawlings and his cabal did not make the (P)NDC a leftist organization.

  Cuba another one-party communist state is widely acknowledged by Western Governments to have well developed Education & Health Systems.
  Therefore, don't try and give the impression that a one-party communist state is a negative thing.
  You have highlighted several negative aspects of the CPP Government led by President Nkrumah now highlight positive acheivements of any other Government of Ghana since 1966?

  Are you not looking miserable by scoring own goal? The Gitmo2 are on PDA from the almighty democratic America. Has any court in Ghana tried Gitmo2 and if not why are we detaining them without trial? The Gitmo duo has become millstone on the neck Ghana who has nothing to do with these jihadist terrorists. But this once again vindicates Kwame Nkrumah that you cannot dialogue with terrorists.
  
  Clearly, one may pardon Kwame Nkrumah for employing PDA in the 20th century but if the same America the mother of all democracy who vehemently criticized PDA paradoxically applies detention without trial in the 21st century on the enclave of Cuba Guantanamo bay in order to circumvent the American constitution due to legal battles; then you lost soul Mahmoud has to do some soul searching in order to get grounded.
  
  It is communist China that has modernize Africa in the 21st century after 500 years of colonial exploitation. If you want to see the change just travel to any part of Africa it is the Chinese who are building our infrastructure not your talking shop masters. From A like Addis Abeba to Z like Zambia the Chinese are helping to change the face of Africa. The Chinese are contributing $60 billion to the development of Africa. House nigger Mahmoud, what are your masters doing in that respect? All they do as always is to paint Chinese activities in Africa black.   Note this, Ghana our beloved country was ushered into independence without a single factory. Everything has to be imported from the UK. It was in this regard that Kwame Nkrumah set up to build 69+ factories and founded the GNTC to offset importers like CFAO, SCOA, UTC UAC, etc. Fast forward to 2016 almost 60 years later and we are still importing everything even toothpick. All in vain so to speak due to Mate Meho treasonists and saboteurs, boy as if I am talking to the wind because such knuckleheads like you Mahmoud will never understand. Not in a million years!
  
  Talking about dictatorship, the NPP is cracking down and stifling dissent in your own rows and that in the 21st century so again Kwame Nkrumah must be pacified. As much as we dont like NPP party, NDC is making a fool of us. We saw what NPP did for the country with social interventions and all people from Volta region enjoyed them too. 
  We are sending the message to NDC that the Volta region is full of people with wisdom and as the Amenfi by-election showed with reduced votes for NDC, so shall it be in the Volta region. We want to be known as the region that makes government like Central, Greater Accra, Western, Brong Ahafo and Northern. We refuse to be the world bank for NDC.
  This is a warning to NDC.

  I have a simple question for the likes of you who accuse kufuor and npp of corruption; WHY HAS NDC SINCE 2009 NOT BEEN ABLE TO JAIL A SINGLE NPP APPOINTEE WHERE AS UNDER KUFOUR REGIME, IBRAHIM ADAM, GEORGE SIPPAH YANKEY,ABODAKPI , KWAMI PEPPRAH AND TSATSU SPENT TIME IN JAIL?
  Is NDC sympathetic to the npp officials so much so that they could not find them guilty when Mills set up commisions to investigate Ghana @50?
  GEN BUHARI of Nigeria is investigating the misdeeds of Jonathan, so John mahama should investigate Kufuor if he believes there were cases of corruption.
  The NDC has failed Ghanaians and brought untold hardship on Ghanains for which reason they will loose 2016.

  CPP should be good to you. You see the CPP as your natural heritage. That is the main challenge that has bedeviled the Party. Until you come to a sober realization that the CPP should be a mass broad based party, its future will be very bruised and and its past cheered. That will be a disservice to the men and women who struggled to build the party.Just like you, everybody should have a right to participate in the CPP's affairs. But, don't take the party as a natural inheritance. You alienate so many with your posture. Unfortunately, if you are clouded from seeing this picture, the majority out there perceives your posturing as such. I think your comment contradicting the respected KB Asante the GITMO 2 saga was ill-thought. How much did you know Nkrumah?? Many people thought, you should simply state the CPP position without any reference to the position Nkrumah would have taken. I am to state that you have through your posturing made the CPP less attractive in the eyes of many Ghanaians.

Ghana like many nations will continue to have 2 dominant Political Parties ,traditions or Ideologies ie the CPP which is NDC today & the UP which is the NPP today.A political party is not only a logo name constitution and ambitious leadership but the people ,followers (voters) which Ghanaians people the NDC today? Surely they're not from the UP tradition or? If someone like Freddy. Blay leave your team ,think fast.. A time will come when no one would like to associate with the NDC..A strategy. exist for the CPP to take over the NDC;.to save the NDC in the near future .My dear Samia strategise ! Go into the genesis of the PNDC and its transformation into NDC....the Rawlings factor was a disguise by some CPP elements to enjoy political power. Most prominent. CPP gurus joined. them to destroy those Industries built by Dr Nkrumah.The Ghana Black Star line with over twelve. Ships lost everything. GIHOC. GNTC under the P(NDC) 10yrs in office.
