Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year 2015,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM.

“The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.

“When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

If with type of governance, Ghanaians will vote this NDC government back into office -then your guess is as good as mine. Suffering, extreme poverty, security dangers, fear, food shortages, Armed robvery, High cost of living, High prices on tariffs, School fees, no jobs.

If we vote this NDC back in office we might as well start getting ready to sleep again in darkness. It also means, we are cheap and do not know quality.

How some Ghanaians will still vote this fake and corrupt government really is baffling. Look at your life, you ve been sleeping in darkness. Someone in Ohio is receiving 24 hr light and planning for the future - why won't you be slaves on all fronts of life.

But with correct leaders, this gap can be closed. See someone like Solomon Nkansah, look at his posturing and you want such a person to plan your life, your future. I'm sorry we are in some deep shit!!!
