The Ashantis were the first to HATE Acheampong, Akufo even though these guys were of the Akan origin.

Ashantis were among the first to endorse Rawlings if not the first. I remember JJ came to Kumasi just two after taking over from Liman.

Simply put Ashantis want what is good for Ghana and themselves whether it comes from a Ga, Ewe, Fante, Dagomba, etc.

Ashantis later realized that JJ was just like the very people he came to condemned. Bribery was rampant under Rawlings. Take the passport office for instance. I got my first passport under JJ but I had pay well over the odds to acquire it.

In the end it was just as it is now under NDC you only get a look in if you a member of the NDC. Even NDC members, not all of them, only those close to the top hierarchy get a look in.

The tactics a party adopts to gain political power tells you how honest the party would be in power. NDC WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR POLITICAL POWER. WHY IS THAT?

SIMPLE, TO BE CORRUPT UNDER THE GUISE OF DEMOCRACY.

THE SOONER THE VOLTAS REALIZE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT THE NDC CARE ABOUT IN THE VOLTA region are the small number of chiefs who they can bribe with cars and money at the expense of the living standards of Ghanaians.

LOOK AT THE LIFESTYLE OF MAHAMA, HIS WIFE, HIS MINISTERS, AND NDC MPs, IT IS LIKE THEY ARE MILLIONAIRES.

THEY USE STATE MONEY AS IF IT GROWS IN THEIR FATHERS FARM DAILY.

THE SOONER THE VOLTAS REALIZE THAT POLITICS IS NOT ABOUT SOME TRIBAL CONTEST THE BETTER FOR THEMSELVES FOR AS THEY SEEM TO REALIZE NOW THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN FOR GRANTED FOR FAR TOO LONG BY THE NDC CROOKS.
