I concur professor. Anybody who carefully studied our constitution would realize that it was made for dictatorship, and that's why I call it Rawlings Green Book. From the horse's own month represented by Bagbin, the hands and legs of our parliament are tied by the constitution to render it ineffective. We can't be proud and say that we have separation of powers in our system because the parliament is deliberately made to be a tool and decoration for the executive.

Our system is neither parliamentary nor presidential because the former has a prime minister (first among equals) who sits in parliament with his ministers only chosen from the parliament and shares the chamber with the opposition and its leader for face to face deliberation of policies. The parliamentary system has its own checks and balances imbedded in it. The presidential system on the other hand, is based on strict separation of powers (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary) to check the executive president with vast powers from abusing those powers, which are not available to the prime minister who governs through the parliament and not outside it as the executive president does.

In Ghana, we have an executive presidential system without the needed checks and balances to prevent abuse because our parliament is shackled by the constitution to serve as another organ of the executive. I believe it was deliberately done to serve the dictatorial tendencies of Rwalings, and I blame Rawlings and his PNDC Cuban-Style Communist Dictatorship for all these shortcomings in our constitution.

The mere fact that members of the Council of State are appointed by the sitting president and leave office when he leaves renders them ineffective, far more ineffective than the parliamentarians.

It is a shame for NPP to continue to insult Ghanaians this way. Nana Akuffo Addo said that NPP constructed 5,000 kilometer roads and we are not sure if Kufuor swallowed the roads before he left office. The competence of Kufuors era was the hand of western Europe in whatever we do leading to selling of Ghanatelecom because Kufuor and his team manage it competently. Another competence is that when Kufuor left office Ghana had only 3% shares only in the Ashanti Goldfields left.
NPP is so incompetent that it could not differentiate between South Ketu and South Tongu constituencies names.

This was the same reason why the minister for local government and rural development initiated the sanitation in Ghana to ensure that what happened on June 3 never occurred. The re-branding of the cars was another step of helping the ease transportation system in the country. These buses help the aged and the youth as well to get their various destination. Everything President Mahama does in Ghana is for the common good of the nation.

Things might not be too right because there is hardship but we are collectively responsible when you have previous irresponsible govt who because of political expediency would never do the right thing. The main difference between npp and Ndc is that npp would take tax payers money and share to people to sing their praises but the Ndc would not do that but use the money to build infrastructure so people complain there is no money in their pocket. How many airports did npp renovate or build in 8 years? How many gin as hospitals did npp build in 8 years? How many secondary schools did npp build in 8 years? How many factories did npp build in 8 years? All the indicators show that npp came yo waste everybody's time but because of their noise and cult mentality they are always on a propaganda course.

It is very painful and disturbing to listen to SMALL BOYS like this 'fly' of a PPP what, talking senseless and rubbish stuff against the Government of Ghana and the current president of the nation. What do these boys know about governance and state-building, economics and national development? Every day I hear kids like this one come on air and spew dust into the air discrediting our motherland. I mean things like these should have been quickly taken out of circulation without delay. Hmmmmmm.
