John Dramani Mahama WANTS TO RETAIN another 4 years of the people`s mandate, he won it 4 years back, after he has told the people what programs and actions he was going to take and put in place, hence all these projects, and the tackling of challenges like dumsor and the economy. Nana Addo WANTS the people`s mandate too, PULLING DOWN your competitors programs, without OFFERING an ALTERNATIVE is creating a VACUUM, WHICH EVEN NATURE ABHORS! This attitude and style of politicking is OLD SCHOOL, and deceptive. This is what MAY lead one to conclude that Nana Addo is DESPARATE FOR POWER. President Mahama has never and will not plunge this country into economic hardship. We see major road expansions, an increase in access to portable water, addition of more capacity to the nation grid. The list goes on and on. What we have today is a working President making Ghana better.

Mahama's a joy to Ghanaians.One of the President who has got the interests of its citizenry deeply at his heart.Since he assumed office he's puts smiles on the faces of Ghanaians,executed infrastructure developments;schools(Out of 200 schools,123 have been built),Hospitals (He's expanded the Tamale Teaching,Police,Ridge,Upper and Bolgatanga Hospitals)and social interventions with the scarce resources the country has.Talking of corruption,he tasked the NBI to conduct an enquiry into the matter, they have done exactly that and made some recommendations.Labour issues and Dumsor(Lighting issues) has also been tackled.The Ghanaian populace have seen his works and will renew his mandate come November 7,2016.

Mahama's time is not over yet he is now getting started. Ghana used to suffer from an annual chronic issue of dumsor, under Mahama dumsor is no more and the energy generation capacity of Ghana now stands at over 2000 MW, the vision is still on course to make Ghana the next exporter of electricity.

This and many more are the good works done by Mahama come November 7th he will be retained as President while Nana Addo is retired.

Those who are desperate for power are those in opposition and the NPP is the one in opposition. Always criticizing the President and attacking him for no apparent reason we know that the NPP is a rather the one desperate for power after it eluded them for 3 straight times.

If Akufo Addo is going round begging for votes for that matter not telling the people the truth that prevails today e.g. restoring of teacher/nurses trainee allowance etc. Which is better trainees contracting students loan so that more students from the Senior Secondary Schools get the opportunity to be trained or pay allowance so that only few people can enter colleges to be trained.Ghanaians should not forget that a military government once scraped of teacher trainee allowances but could not be restored when Dr Busia's government took over the reigns of governance of this country. Dr Bawumia and APP don't be too desperate to be the Vice President of Ghana now you may be but not now you may partner Allan Kyeremanten but definitely not Akufo Addo because he can't and would not ever be the president of this country. Everyone who is old enough to follow Politics in Ghana would know the description fits Akufo-Addo more than the President. And that provides a certain layer of blatant deception to characterize the Presidential bid of the twice defeated and thrice attempted candidate for the Presidency, Akufo-Addo.

The desperation of Akufo-Addo to ascend the Presidency is plainly evident in his relentless pursuit of the position even after two consecutive defeats, also in his '..all die be die..' philosophy he wraps his Presidential bid in. There is little doubt it is that pig-headed philosophy that has led his faction in NPP to resort to the partisan cannibalization that has sidelined Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong, Sammy Crabbe, Awuni, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, Dr. Wereko-Brobbey and others, sometimes resulting in vicious even fatal violence.

Such brazen deception is an easily overlooked assessment subtlety that could massively hurt the chances of the NPP flagbearer. His campaign ought to do better than that, or just prepare for a third defeat.
