  The 2012 elections was bought by John Mahama with over 4 billion dollars. The statement put out by Prosper Bani concerning the "terrorists and mercenaries" in which STL came up was Prosper Bani blowing the lid on John Mahama's rigging of the 2012 elections and subsequent attempts to influence the EC to engage in that same conduct, especially where STL is concerned.
  As to why Prosper would blow the lid on the rigging of the 2012 elections, and attempts to perpetuate and perpetrate same in 2016, is a matter brewing in their NDC party and gov't.
  What is clear is Ghanaians have rejected the John Dramani Mahama-led NDC gov't outright. There is no ambiguity on this position, and it is the expectation of all Ghanaians that the EC would take the necessary steps to ensure the 2016 elections are free, fair, credible, transparent and honest in line with recommendations to reform the electoral process as demanded by Ghanaians.
