  Normally Dagarti pito does not booze much so I think Bernard must have visited a blue bar for a quarter bottle of akpeteshie. I am sure of this. What Bernard said is like Nana dreaming of beating JDM - it just cannot happen!

  Bagbin is one of the best guys in NDC. I have always admired him for his qualities. I hope to see him in parliament else, Ghana is doomed with some of these jokers going to parliament

  The majority leader is one of the most callous,heartless and vindictive politicians.To be blunt he is a retrogressive and destructive character who is extremely anti-youth.Unfortunately this tyrant who have sacrificed and destroyed lives to maintain political power have found a way of monopolizing and manipulating particularly gullible youth with his immense wealth to clang onto the Nadowli-Kaleo seat.There is a difference between 'politricks' and development oriented politics.I cannot the least imagine somebody who have pursuit and destroyed viable human resource base who could have contributed to the development of the north be put in the same category as Dr.Hilla Limann.Bagbin's deliberate mission of ambushing and victimizing youth with immense potential is negativism and barbarism of the highest order.He is an autocrat and a tyrant who is extremely self centered and grandiose.Despite all the malice and diabolism he has been able to project himself as a likeable person largely through a propaganda driven machinery with his immense wealth.It has been easy for him because we have large chunk of the youth in upper west being sycophantic,opportunistic and extremely gullible.We lack a youth who are assertive and critical thinking in holding politicians like Bagbin accountable other than the usual boot licking for pittance.When i talk about pittance it is obviously relative per the immense wealth of Bagbin and the abject poverty in the upper west region unscrupulous politicians like him capitalize on.Unfortunately,highly educated youth including intellectuals sacrifice the development needs of abjectly poor and deprived constituents for their selfish parochial interest instead of serving as advocacy conduits.They do the bidding of the majority leader with full knowledge of his callous and heartless posture towards his own people for goodies and money.I cannot imagine the usefulness of the majority leader to the people of upper west when he goes about on cruel,vindictive mission of destruction of the youth of upper west.Alban Bagbin was the one who surreptitiously supervised the dismissal of a young doctor from the upper west region when he was the Health Minister at the time the upper west region are in acute shortage of doctors.That is not his first time.He has victimized and persecuted doctors in the past including other public workers from the upper west region in needless show of political power in various portfolio held at the slightest perception of threat.If the majority leader who is supposed to be the beacon of democracy and the rule of law cannot tolerate opposing views by civil servants not politicians,it is very easy to reliably conclude he is nothing more than a power drunk tyrant.A tyrant who is power drunk and eccentric can never in any way champion the development need of people.Somebody who is ready to sacrifice useful and productive lives in the upper west region on the alter of politics cannot in any way champion development.When people talk about MPs being law makers other than development,i consider it fallacious and illogical in the sense that huge sums of money they invest to win political power can do a lot in terms of development.When sham projects and programs are put in place with the intention of winning political power during campaign period,it is development but mediocre and unsustainable.When the youth and other opinion leaders are bribed with goods and money to influence an ignorant,uninformed poor majority constituents it is development but corrupt,discriminative,selective,unsustainable,mediocre and does not represent the interest of the majority poor.When discerning and objective voices advocating development in the interest of the poor are suppressed and oppressed by politicians of the like of Alban Bagbin,then they are championing politics of retrogression,destruction and underdevelopment.After all politics is disagreeing to agree on development.It is not a tool to project others as serving demagogues subjecting the peoples' mandate and power to abuse and enslaving them in the process.It is about time the north in general particularly the youth think about a paradigm shift that will hold politicians accountable in providing progressive,sustainable and meaningful development.Let's move away from the 'chop make i chop politics' why because it has made old politicians like Bagbin immensely rich and powerful often misapplied in abusing,bullying,persecuting and enslaving the very people they are supposed to serve,protect and develop.
