This complaint may well be true of our Constitution. But where was Nduom during the last invitation that the Government sent out to the Public for input into our Constitutional Review?
Many in the Opposition boycotted that exercise, simply, out of Partisan snob. But I think that was a golden opportunity that the Opposition should have fully taken advantage of to significantly influence the nature of our Constitution.
So, what did Nduom contribute to solving the complaint he now cites?
Sometimes, we withdraw ourselves in protest from active participation in a process at our own peril. Most of the time, our vehement opposition to a proposal or the status quo could be well registered for necessary impact without our total boycott of the process. It takes a well-thought-out consideration to make such decisions. And if Nduom and others failed to do so with the Constitution, they should own up to their miscalculation, and not keep repeating the same faults many have long noticed.

I might be wrong but I can really recollect that the same Afari Gyan who supervised 2 elections won by papaJJ is the same Afari Gyan who supervised and pronounced Ex prez kuffour the winner 2times. He never sees that the executive branch has too much power at that time. It is true that the executive branch has too much power but the judiciary and the legislature are just there to enjoy their salary but not to serve the country. Why did Nduom not make noise about this issue regarding the granting of too many powers to the President when he served very close to a President in that previous government? The government that Dr. Nduom served under also happened to control Parliament with a majority. Dr. Nduom could have asked President Kufuor to have his NPP parliamentarians make efforts to amend the Constitution to limit the President's powers. But Nduom at the time saw no evil, and would not talk about any evil.
