Ignoring the ills within the NPP for the sake of preserving its perceived Party cohesion devours the democratic tenets underlying the foundations of the Party.

Sometimes, folks ought to even risk losing a General Election to protect the Principles, longevity and viability of a Party. There is nothing that threatens the survival of a Party more than backing a totally flawed and wrong Presidential candidate to end up in yet a serial flop.

NPP's case is strangely similar to the contemporary scenario in the USA where the NPP-allied Republicans have chosen to support the candidacy of dumb and dangerous Donald Trump, through and through, all because they cannot stand the likely Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton for an alternative President.

One then has to question whose ultimate interest such partisan solidarity serves. The Nation's or the Republican Party's? And in Ghana, would your blind, unconditional support for the bigoted Akufo-Addo serve the Nation's best interest or the NPP's?

You seem to prioritize the Party's sectional interest to see Akufo-Addo become the next President over the real fate of the Nation's.

To you, it does not matter whether Akufo-Addo's tribal politics and penchant for dodging honesty and fairness in Justice send the country into a tailspin.

And that is a big shame. The guy likes Democracy only when it can be manipulated to serve his personal ambition.

Like Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe said, Akufo-Addo abandoned the 'Kume preko' activists and goals when he got the path opened for him to pursue the Presidency himself. He has since not shown any marked footprints for sustaining our Democracy. He is tyrannical and insidiously vindictive against his own Party leaders who dare challenge his views or wishes.

He, thus, doesn't deserve the Presidency.

Sir note that the party is bigger than one person, including you. Also the world would not come to an end if the NPP fails to win the election. My unsolicited advise to you is conduct yourself whether in public or private as a true Patriot.
What got you into this situation is your know all attitude. You think your riches has no end. Ghanaians are suffering that is why the wind blowing across the country is saturated with the call for change. At this moment non of the other political parties in opposition seems to have the vote to do that apart from NPP. For example the news that Ghana borrowed money by issuing Euro-bond and $250m of the proceeds is in the vault of a private bank which has turned around to loan the money to the country is worrying. This among other reasons, is why the country is in a mess. You may not care about where our country is heading towards today but when your wealth gets depleted which I pray that it does not occur that is when the cloud of regret will set in.
So in conclusion wealthy businessman, Sammy Crabbe, go ahead with your other two accomplices destroy the hand that has fed you, we will all go down the drain and your political career of you, Afoko and Agyeapong will be over.
