High-thinking Ghanaians will give President Mahama & the NDC a second nod to rule Ghana come November 7 because of the huge infrastructure he has brought to the country.

The Kpong Intake Rehabilitation Project has been carried out to improve efficiency by replacing all existing pumps.As part of the project, a water treatment plant has been built to increase supply to communities such as Dodowa, Ningo and Prampram,all in the Greater Accra Region and the Akuapem Ridge in the Eastern Region.This plant can supply 3.3 miliion gallons per day.

Ghanaians will not elect a flagbearer whose own NPP members perceive him as being incompetent and a monumental failure. That's part of the reason why Akufo-Addo and his Aplanke Bawumia will lose again. A change is coming to NPP, when Akufo-Addo loses in November and is retired from politics, thus paving the way for the NPP free itself from the shackles of Akufo-Addo.

My clear inference is the Rawlings administration had mortgaged the nation to IMF(their dealings are on IMF website), so there was enough cash to go around( however imprudent) to undertake certain projects as cited by TEIN. Projects are good, but to borrow excessively to keep our nation in perpetual shackles as we currently find ourselves is not sustainable. We have to live within our means and stop deceiving ourselves. Rawlings administration had unsustainable fiscal policy which led us inevitably to HIPIC. It was the fiscal imprudence in Rawlings' era that led us to HIPIC. The Kuffuor's administration was essentially remedial . The NPP under Kuffuor which Nana Addo played a vital role was arguably a success. I think TEIN and Owuraku Amofa should be candid in their analysis and project an accurate picture. We should not underestimate the crisis we are in as a nation. Superficiality and divisive politics must stop. Let's ask ourselves, for example, could we have put in measures to mitigate the severity of these floods that are claiming precious lives?. Isn't it terrible that twelve months on, we haven't learnt any lessons from the Circle tragedy?. Time will not permit me to rebut TEIN's view on suspensions at NPP camp; suffices to say that rules and discipline are currently winning. Besides, some of the aggrieved NPP members have been to court because of their suspension. As at now, the party has not been found of any wrong doing. What is TEIN's problem then? .
